Interesting observations on injections ....

I started TRT in February of 2014 .... went through minimal testing with my doc and was in her office for the first two injections. For the third and all that followed I self injected at home.

Fearful of needles I decided on short 30g insulin syringes and subq injections twice a week.

Starting relatively small and having frequent bloodwork done to see how various amounts effected both my feeling and levels.

(348-1197 ng/dL) (5-21 ng/dL) (E Sensitive)

120mg put me at 769, 31.45 and 34

140mg put me at 737, 36.56 and 47

160mg (along with 1/4mg Adex at time of injection) put me at 886, 35.35 and 9

180mg (along with 1/4mg Adex at time of injection) put me at 808, 39.92 and 8.9 (the sensitive test changed values on this one from the 3-70 pg/mL of the past to the 8-35 pg/mL currently).

I give blood faithfully every 8 weeks because my RBC climbs .....

I was having pretty frequent lumps and some post injection soreness so I decided to change to IM using a slightly longer 29g insulin syringe. I went more by how I felt than anything else and have been using 200mg per week along with 1/4mg Adex at the time of injection.

I had blood work done last week and was very surprised when it came back 1410, >50 and 18.2.

Injection and blood draws have been consistent for each time. Inject Monday morning before work and get blood drawn Tuesday morning before work.

Needless to say I am going to back it down just a touch but I found it interesting that 20mg more per week IM vs subq had that drastic of an effect. I guess the rate my body metabolizes it is just that different.

Worth noting .... feel fucking great at these levels just not sure how safe it would be to try and live at them for the next 40 years.

Just titrate down a tad, you should still feel just as good. I personally have spoke with many guys that have been on TRT 20+ years. As long as your lab work is fine there should be no problem.

I don't like sub-c T injections i get irritated as well. Nice to see the difference on paper though.

Also if you optimized your GH levels that may reduce inflammation in the body and help keep your blood counts low.

Just my 2 cents.
