Introduction from a guy who got busted...

Yeah...

passed by lawmakers who take millions from tobacco companies. what a farce.

Nobody here will believe this, but when I was 15 years old in Wyoming, I wrote a paper for my 9th grade English class about how steroids have never been proven to kill people.

That would have been in like 1987 or 1988. My teacher gave me a red mark because I wrote "Muscle Mag International" instead of "Muscle Magazine International." I argued and got that red mark removed. lol

But I was in Wyoming and had NO access to gear then. Then I moved to Colorado and it was everywhere. I remember telling a kid at the gym that I recognized from one of my classes that I wished I could find some steroids. He said it was easy and that he had an extra bottle in his closet he would sell me for like $15. Methandrostenolone. lol

understood

So let me get this straight...after ALL that...you're getting more gear and starting again? When laws on this are more strict than ever?

It's been a very long time for me and people get stuff shipped through the mail. It's a different ball game now.

And I'm 36 and I am just getting done with my second divorce and want to get as muscular as I can so I can have something over the younger cats. I understand the skeptisism, though.

So what was the total amount you got busted for? I've heard guys getting popped for a rather large amount and wound up with probation. Just curious

I've heard of situations like this as well. A friend of a friend of mine got busted driving under the influence, with a gun in the car. He also had weed and about 200 tabs of dbol.

All things considered I believe he only got a slap on the wrist for it. I don't believe he did any jail time and if he did, it was no more than a week or two.

My friend told me that with steroids, there is a certain number of tabs that you can have where if you get caught it's considered personal use instead of intent to sell. I don't know the exact number though

That's TRUE in my experience... I was initially charged with Posession, Possession with Intent to Distribute, and Distribution. The 2nd charge is the one in which the volume or quantity is important. If you have a certain amount, even if it's for personal use, they can charge you with 'intent to distribute.'

PS - I am starting to feel like an old Guru, but my soul still feels young!

Do you know if the amount varies from state to state, or is it a federal law?

I really don't know. The DEA dropped their case against me and gave it to the State of Colorado bc it was too small. It was like 16 years ago, so I forget some of the details and remember them later. I remember that I didn't have a lawyer and in the little room outside the courtroom, the D.A. looking all surprised when I said I was pleading guilty bc I did it. They were 'astonished.' And they offered me a deal anyway. I said I would plead guilty to all counts. They insisted that I should plead guilty to the one count. They thought I was a nice kid. I was. And I wrote a STRONG outline for the judge and spoke from the heart about my insecurities and such, and she gave me the probation and 60 days work release. I was surprised about the work release and reminded her that I had a job. She started to get mad and chastise me and I apologized profusely. And she stuck with the original sentence... I think she died suddenly a several years ago. Weird how much death has accompanied my steroid situation. Her last name was Polidori or Palmieri. Both were judges during the process. The one at the sentencing had blonde hair. The other was a brunette.

PS -- AND I got off probation after like 2 years bc they couldn't even test for steroids in Jeffco at the time. And I didn't drink or use rec drugs. I was a model probationer. lol

If by different ball game you mean harder and stiffer punishements, you would be correct.
..and the above is a horrible reason to start using gear again.

My thoughts exactly. They are more strict than ever. If you got busted again with previous charges you would be fucked. Think about it...

Hehehe, I remember those little blue D-bols from Germany. First thing ever used...and yes, i was wayyy too young. Took it in high school back in 89 while playing football. Steroids became big around here after the Ben Johnson scandal/farce.

Thanks...

Hahah, living your life scared of "the man". Not very American you know...

Probably not the best advice, though... I just read on steroidlawdotcom that as of the 28th, they passed a bill increasing the punishment for those who want to look better, get bigger, feel younger, throw harder, run faster, jump higher, etc.

Penalties did not change for those who want to sit around all day getting high and feeling fucked up. lol

It's sad how there priorities are set...

Breaking the law is the one thing that can ruin your life more than anything else.

True, but to be honest with you, EVERYBODY breaks the law, everyday.

From simple little thing like, spitting your gum on the ground, driving 5 mph over the speed limit, having a glass of wine at lunch and then driving back to work, smoking a joint in you living room, j walking, yalk on the phone while driving, not wearing your seatbelt. And most people don't even realize they are doing it.

I take steroids, but I'm not a bad person...in fact, most pepole think I'm a great guy...including my wife and 4 year old daughter who love me very much. I live an honest life and go to work every day. I pay my taxes, I don' drink or smoke and live a realitivly healthy lifestyle.

But I'm the "bad guy" cause I'm a "juice pig"?

The government needs to open thier fucking eyes. Mexico sells it over the counter and they have no problems there. Canada and the US just want to be able to dictate what we can and can't do...
