IPhone 4 or IPod Touch 4?

I know many of you have smartphones cos you post from the phone, so i would like to hear your opinion.

Im thinking about getting one of these two. The iphone is better, it has everything the ipod has plus the phone functions, and it also has a better camera and more RAM, the RAM is not noticeable using it though.

I was leaning towards buying the iphone, but then i read that next year better phones like the samsung galaxy 2 or the lg tegra 2 are coming, and will be way better than iphone 4. And also, the iphone 5 is coming.

So, maybe the best option will be to get the ipod touch now, and wait till mid 2011 to get a next gen phone. What do u guys think?

The iphone 4 is great if you love paying an excessive amount for an outdated phone. Apple isn't even remotely competitive with phone specs + software. They stay afloat due to apps and a marketing campaign that has half the world brainwashed. (I work for a cellphone company)

I have a touch 4G, and EVO for the phone. The Sammy is nice, but 4" instead of 4.3", the keyboard would be nice and the video does hardware OpenGL where the EVO does not.

Depends what you want in a phone, its not really a matter of which one is better except for YOUR purposes.

I love my htc incredible. Its smaller then the samsung but a good quick phone. Ive never had any apple stuff and dont want to because I run everything windows (home PC, Labtop, and work) With the android Im able to view and edit documents from all my computers. The apps are growing every day as well. Again if you want a larger screen, the Incredible is not the phone for you. Good luck on purchasing your new toy!

Personally like the posts above I'd go for an android device. I live in Canada so the selection for me is even more limited. The evo 4g sounds damn nice though, I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one. Personally I use the HTC Nexus One... runs stock android and is expecting gingerbread to be released any day now.

Yeh, the android is another of the reasons i was seriously considering getting another phone, many ppl told me it beats the mac system, and the difference will be even bigger on next gen phones.

Likely i will get and ipod touch, cos my main use will be music, vids and wifi, and i'll see what to do about the phone.

I have the iPhone 4 and love it - the picture and video quality is outstanding.

I've had a blackberry and an iPhone 3 but the 4 is all around much better - even as a phone it's much better.

With apple always coming out with new stuff - the biggest dilemma is should I wait for the next new thing - but I usually upgrade every year or two anyway.

I've even placed a couple orders with uncle Z on it

I should also mention most of my time on the forum here (including this post) is done on the iPad - just lay'n back watching the tub as I type this out.

I have several iPhone 4 cases.

Sena makes a very good case.

Vaja makes great cases but they are expensive and custum made - u can find coupons on line.

The one I use and like the most is the one I've paid the least for - it's by specs and I think it's called the pixel HD ... I first seen this one from someone who did a review on many cases and gave this one the highest rating.

All of my Sena cases have outlast each phone so id also give them a good look.
