No. Don't take clomid.
E2 at 49 is a little high, but not too bad. I am guessing you didn't have the sensitive assay performed.
What side effects of E2 are you experiencing?
What is your testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) protocol? There may be things you can do to lower your E2 without using an AI.
I would say those are low T symptoms. 100mg/wk is not a high dose. You may have pretty good total T, but low free T, so that may be where the problems come from.Unexplained sadness, low libido and occasional ED

As far as i know, E2 is important for healthy libido.
Definitely try to split the dose and inject every 3.5 days.
Post your progress
My GUESS is that he is probably getting those feelings at his TT trough when his ratio of E2 to TT is probably the highest. Again, just a guess on my part.
Split it into 50mg every 3.5 days. You most likely won't need an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) if you do that. It evens out your levels so that you have less aromatization.
