Ok so I have seen many routines from 4 on 1 off, 1 on 1 off, 2 on 1 off. Ok Maybe CNS recovery is important if you completely tax the muscle 100%. Im not sure everyone does that though. See I work out usually without a partner but try to take benefit of taxing the muscle by going to failure on my last rep of my last set for each excersise. So is it overrated at those different levels ?? Its just by the time I fiNd out what works I could have wasted years.....
