Is TRT considered cheating in University or Professional Sports?

Anyone know if testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is considered cheating in sports?
Do they do testing, if a guy is on TRT...is he flagged or thrown off the team?
be it in a university, or professional league?
There are legitimate uses for TRT...
If a hypogonadal male was to keep his T in the high normal range...albeit it is still normal.
That hypogonadal male could be normalized enough to be able to participate and contribute along with other regular T guys and thus lead a normal life. Do they disqualify the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) male in a situation like that?

Ex UFC Light Heavyweight Champ Vitor Belfort isn't allowed to fight in the USA because he's on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). He's only been able to fight in Brazil thus far.

IMO, even if he's on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), if his test levels are in normal range, he should definitely be able to fight. He will be at a disadvantage otherwise instead of being on an even platform with his competitors.

Chael Sonnen is on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and fights in the UFC.

I don't think testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is allowed in MLB, NFL, etc. (major American sports).

I don't think GH is allowed GH defiency either (David Segui did this but it was prior to the present testing)

I feel like they need to allow. Whatever doctors allow, they need to allow. They have their own subset of doctors, maybe those are the ones making decisions.

he came back to fight silva like a year ago didn't he? Rampage Jackson is also on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and tons more

theres a bunch of ufc fighters on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). although the president of the ufc doesnt like it aslong as they have permission from the athletic commission (and their doctor) they can do it but they still get drug tested and if their above the normal range they get fined/suspended.

i guess using steroids in any sport would be considered cheating unless you fall within the "normal" range.

It seems if your a non-athlete on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) then your on hormone therapy ; if your an athlete then your on steroids or juice. You can blame this too on our "witchhunt congress" who all seem to need a good shot of test.....

I think this actually has to do with Vitor not having a social security number. They passed some stupid law that won't allow foreign fighters to fight in the U.S. until they obtain a SSN. That's why there have been so many events in Brazil over the last year or two.

A lot of those People you mention are Elitist upper crust of society...
Don't think for a minute guys like that don't have great doctors looking at their Blood panels advising them what's best for their health.
Not mentioning any names...
but it's obvious when a famous multi billionaire gets married at 83 y.o. to a 30 something year old woman...that he is on something.

whats being on halo like?

No idea but I'd love to try it the cycle after next. Only source that has it is international unfortunately. But I'm not a power lifter nor do I compete in shows so it would be a little irresponsible to run as the side effects are greater than the benefit.

Ask 308 if he's run it during powerlifting competitions.
