Isolating sections of your delts..

Apart from front raises, lat raises and bent over raises what other exercises could you use to isolate the heads that make up your delts?

Any Ideas Let Me Hear Them.

Stick to heavy pressing (overhead) and your shoulders will grow, trust me!!!

As for rear delts, they will get blasted when you do deadlifts and any type of rowing.

I used to try and hit each head of the delts when I first started working out. Then I came across DC training which focuses on HEAVY COMPOUND MOVEMENTS. My shoulder exercised consist of Military Press, Behind Neck Press, and DB Shoulder Press. My delts have made huge improvements since the switch. My front delts are alot bigger as well as my rear delts. And like I mentioned earlier, deads and row have taken care of my rear delts quite well.

I find that hammer raises, or whatever its called, works the front deltoid very well. Compared to regular front raises that seem to work more of the side head. Hammer raise is when you hold the dumbell with your palm facing to the side instead of down.

i agree dont worry about trying to do isolation exercises and focusing to much on the different heads, my delt routine for example is

1 x 10 side db raises
1 x 10 front db raises
3 x 8-12 db shoulder press
4 x 6-12 bb military press

bent over rows pulled really high [ about even with the face] smash the upper back and rear delts .

The only isolation work I do is for the rear delts/traps. for these I do band pull-aparts, and face pulls with a rope.

i think dumbell upright rows are the only exercise that seems to build my side delts because you can overload them. nothing else does it.
