Issues with daily cialis on TRT

My current TRT routine is 200mg test cyp per week with .25mg arimidex usually every other week, sometimes weekly.

I also take cialis 5mg daily. When I first began using this, I was getting good results. It definitely helped my sex drive and also helped testicular atrophy (presumably by sending blood flow that allowed my boys to “hang”).

For a while now I have not been getting the desired results. It doesn’t seem to do much for my sex drive and also doesn’t do much for testicular atrophy.

Anybody have any similar issues with this, or know how it can be reversed?

Last bloodwork;
Test: 760 ng/dl (range 348-1197)
E2: 14 pg/nl (range 7.6-42)

I have never heard cialis use for atrophy. HCG seems the only good way to keep the boys in working order.

Your E2 might be a bit low also, but...

I do 5mg daily cialis and when I do a blast with stuff that messes with my function, I bump it to 10mg. Then if I know I am gonna he called into service I go the full tab for that day

For me, cialis is like any other drug, my body builds up a tolerance and it doesn't work as well as it did before. Only solution for me is to switch to sildenafil for a week and give my body a break. Works when I switch back. If I have no sildenafil then i just take a break from them both for a while. That's all that works for me. When I begin use again they work great.

As far as for atrophy I've never had any luck with that. HCG or low dose clomid seem to be the only solutions in that area.

I believe you are mistaken. Cialis doesn't do anything for libido or testicular atrophy.

I simply allows you to get a harder erection. That may psychologically give you more sexual confidence; but not increase your desire for sex.

If you want to minimize testicular atrophy you need to be on hCG.

I am unable to take HCG due to severe water retention it has been causing me. Also, when I say cialis has reduced atrophy, it has done so in allowing my testes to hang, presumably due to more blood flow down there.

But regardless of that, the original issue at hand is that the daily cialis doesn’t really do much anymore. Perhaps I have built a tolerance to it like LateStart suggested.

Does anyone have any luck using the other ED drugs on a daily basis (viagra, levitra)? Could tolerance have come from any issue with my TRT?

Unless there is a medical need to stay on cialis, I would discontinue for a little while and start back on it. It'll work again if ya give it a rest. I used to do this once per month......now I sub in the sildenafil for a couple days every other week. Works like a charm for me. Sorry......i know I already said that. It's just that I understand your frustration.
If you get the sildenafil (generic viagra) through your doc then make sure he prescribes 20mg. The reason I say this is price. Pharmacy sildenafil runs one dollar each at 20mg. It's 50 times that at any other dose. Reasoning for this is because sildenafil is now prescribed for altitude sickness. Yup....thats right......high altitude is easier for the human body if ya have sildenafil in your system. As a result.....the 20mg dose is prescribed and you can get a coupon on good rx for the cheap price.
And yes.....IT HAS TO BE 20MG.

That’s actually pretty good advice. I had some viagra as well so maybe I can sub that for a little bit, or take a break altogether.

It drives me crazy that HCG no longer works for me without this bad water retention/bloat side effect. This is something that only started a few years ago. I took HCG in various doses for 8 years before that.

I have some clomid to also add to my routine, but I’m not sure if that will provide much benefit.

In regard to the clomid.....my try includes clomid. For me, it helps very slightly with atrophy. The biggest benefit is it makes me produce my own test along with try dose AND it increases volume of ejaculate substantially. I don't use it all the time. 3 or 4 weeks on and 2 weeks off. I even use it on cycle and receive some benefit.
