They both have their advantages. I personally prefer empty stomach cardio only because I've had tremendous results with it.

My choices in order would be.
1. Empty stomach (carb depleted) morning
2. HIIT
3. PWO

From what ive read on here. It seems most say that AM cardio on a emty stomach
is the best.

When you say carb depleted morning you talking none at all cause i tend to run am on empty stomach then hit an 90% isolated why protein (no carbs) shake and then half hour later hit 120g porridge oats for the only carbs of the day?

No i mean only pre cardio. After cardio you should start your regular carb consumption. You say you run, you need to make sure if your doing empty stomach cardio its done low impact ie:brisk walk, incline, keep heart rate under 130. Otherwise eat and do HIIT.

The cardio I tend to do is more like a really gentle jog (7mph)ish for 20mins first thing in the morning

actually its more like 3 miles an hr at an incline that doesn't let ur heart rate go above 130-135bpm for a prolonged peroid.. like 45min...
