Just got a dip station!!

Just got a dip station in our shitty gym. 1st time i've done dips in over 1 yr. They actually didn't hurt my shoulders either this time!!
Was wondering if any of u guys had a good dip program. We have a belt so u can add more weight. Got up 2 bodyweight+90lbs but could only do 5 reps. Thought i did alright thought, since i'm not used to doing them. Any good mass building programs for dips??
 
just a tip for you vary your style on dips depending on what bodypart you are targeting , leaned over hits chest harder and up right hits tris harder .
 
I've been thinking of switching up my routine a bit.From Mon-back/bi's Tues-Chest/shoulders/tris Thurs or Fri- legs TO Mon- back Tues-Chest/shoulders Thurs-legs Friday- arms
Seemed like w/the 3day split i was too wore out to do much of anything for bi's or tri's by the time I got to them. Also figured, since they were a smaller muscle group and are only hit indirectly (back/ chest/shoulders) I could do them on their own day.
Would it be ok then on friday if I did dips, just made sure i was upright when doing them?? Cuz when i did them this fri. I felt it all in my tri's. Thats what i'm looking for. I wanna build up my tri's more.
Oh...i'm currently on cycle, so my recover time should be a bit faster, thats another reason for me wanting to do arms on a separate day.

you might try sticking with the 3 day split but monday chest/bis , tuesday legs and thursday back and tris . this gives you time for recovery of the cns but still hits the tris 2 times a week .
 
Oh, shouldn't u also have more then 1 day rest between legs and dl's??? Cuz i do dl's every other back day. Gm's the others.
I'll give it a shot though. Never tried a program like that before. Always trained like muscle groups. Worth a try though, makes sense. I've prob. overtrained some. U suggest cardio on the off days?? I'm not always as faithfull w/doing cardio as i am lifting :wink2: hate cardio
 
weighted dips are great. can be hard on shoulders for many people. i always do them on chest/tri day.
