I'm going to be taking a rip blend from Lexus . It has some good compounds in it and should help with cutting . BELIVE me I know cutting is diet . Ad that's what I would like to focus on this .. Sould I go keto or just eat clen hight protein high fat low carb and under maintance ?

the anabolic diet by Dr.Mauro Di Pasquale is what i am on pretty much all the time and have been for years. I think he calls it the Metabolic diet now. You can get great results with the cutting phase of this diet ,clen. and a regimented workout bro !!!! It's a cyclical keto diet check it out!

I lost 17 pounds in around 5-6 weeks on the keto with 3j. It works. First week zero carbs. Then after that have a cheat meal on leg days. Diet is the key to cutting man. I'm on a bulk now, and will start back on keto around march.

yup yup!!

keto is an excellent way to cut but it can be taxing psychologically.. if your one of those corn fed types.. e.g. if your diet consisted of alot of carbs.. like if you were italian, middle eastern, or any other culture who had carbs as a staple in their diet it can become a bit difficult to stick to keto..

but the reward for the sacrifice is great.. you really do lean down nice... your energly levels will be a bit lower in the gym but people manage just fine..

if your an athlete in a high endurance sport i dont recommend keto..

Dieting is so much more simple than people make it out to be. A deficit is required to loose bodyweight, and a surplus of calories is required to gain. Keto is one method, Paleo is another, theres a hundred different methods. I think that bodybuilders and athletes alike should have a fairly high intake of carbohydrates, and don't advise keto to anyone who train's like a bodybuilder or athlete. The performance enhancement gained from consuming carbohydrates is pretty silly to not take advantage of.

though i agree with what your saying some people are not in the shape they would like to be.. im talking 20% plus.. high carb diets are usually better for the person who actually is a performance athlete.. if your a higher level bber with more lbm i totally agree.. if your the type that has the genetic issues that come with poor body composition then maybe a lower carb diet is better.. i usually dont like to go under 150g a day myself even at my most severe cutting reg.

i think keto is fine for when youre a higher bf %, but once you get down leaner, its good to add some carbs back in the mix. i usually start my cut with keto, then after a week or two go to a more traditional 40/40/20 split

I agree 100%, I was more so thinking of the people that this forum is more targeted towards (athletes and bodybuilders).

My avatar is result of keto. Its all natural though. Wasn't using gear. I'm using now but been off for 13 years.
I never did well with your normal 40/40/20 style diets. Keto just a lifestyle I can maintain.
On gear I'm not sure how this diet will work.
I'm going to be trying 3j out and see how it goes.
Probably eventually try carb cycling again with 3j if this current work goes well.

Id say if keto works for you and you can stick to it, then stay with it for now

I do have a physical job laying tile and marble .. Good news is its hard to eat at work . Presently I've Ben eating very low carbs at work .. Like a banana or a piece of Ezekiel bread or two in the am . Perhaps a lil whole whet pasta or rice . But that's about it . Everything after that is protein and good fats . It's Ben working for me pretty well so far but I would like to take it to the next level . Keto sounds like it could be for me ! I it difficult or is it simply no carbs high fat 5 days a week and carbs to a extent on the weekend .

Well I am making moor $ but not a ton to spend on a nutritionist . This diet seems pretty simple if all I haft to do is eat the right amount of protine , keep my fats high as well as eating good fats . Now would I still need to eat 500 cal under maintenance ? Or what . And how manny grams of fat would one need at let's say 250. 18 % bf
BMR is 2500 cal ... When can I eat carbs . Can I eat carbs two days out the week ? Or non for three weeks . Pm me let me know how much your package will be ? Thanks for the advice .

2 carb days on weekends is "cyclic keto" it's different than pure "keto". Haven't used 3J (yet), but a lot of bro's here have seen good results with him. I would check him out, especially if your just starting to work on your diet. Balancing saturated, omega-3 & omega-6's into a good ratio can be challenging with inexperience.

so that would be something like this ?

So here’s how it breaks down during the week: Sunday through Friday afternoon , you will follow the low carb diet outlined above. Eat fat and protein all day everyday except on workout days because after workouts, you will need to consume strictly just protein—no fat or carbs.

Some have found to enjoy a protein shake afterwards because they are easily digested. Do whatever works for you. But fat is not logical since you want the protein to fuel the healing process as quickly as possible and fat will only slow it down.

Friday afternoon, around two hours before your last workout of the week, eat two to three pieces of fruit. This will get your body/liver ready to start the carb loading and give you some energy for that final, dreadful workout (trust me, during the first few weeks, you will not want to do that final workout, but you must). Then from Friday night until Saturday at midnight or until bed, eat those carbs!

Cyclic keto. That final workout is usually high rep/high volume or something along those lines - specifically designed to burn any glycogen stores you may have remaining and "prime" your muscles for the reload. Be careful doing intense workouts while on keto, it can be detrimental to your progress - unless your on gear, then not so bad.
