Ladies I need your help on tanning

I use to admire women with tans but now I am attracted to women with milky white skin?
I like the tanned look for myself but I stopped tanning years ago after dad died from skin cancer:(
I wish not to look like a beluga whale when i go to the beach with my daughter this summer, so i am trying neutrogena spray tan . This pump bottle works great even if you hold it upside down but it goes on clear and developes over time (2-6 hours) . It gives a nice brown color and no streaks but you do have blocthes later on, that you have to somehow correct by not applying to that area again? Seems kind of hard. There is no way i am going to do all that exfoliating to get a more even result. I am still trying this
but hoping someone has something better?

BTW I was thinking of using DMSO+test on my
skin ....will there be a problem while using this
neutrogena stuff. Maybe a question for neutrogena people but I"ll leave out the part about 'test'

Ok , I just bought neutrogena " instant bronze" ...it says it will help eliminate mistakes
for even coverage , cause you can see some color as you apply it.
Also bought the pre- sunless scrub to exfoliate . This is gonna take a lot of effort but it is safe and i have no other choice.
Even the tan beds, that i also used, have recently been proven to age the skin and cause melanomas.

I will report back on my progress.

Stan,
I use the Lancome self tanning gel with a bronzer and just rub it in really well. I havent had any problems with uneven color from that. Ive tried the Mystic tan and it looked great for a few days but wore off unevenly. Chelsea

As much of a pain as you may think it is, Stan, exfoliation is key to getting good even results so just buck up and do it.

I always use a damp sponge to apply tanner. I find I get more even results that way.

Thanks chelsea, i will try it.

The sponge makes good sense, thanks.

i did exfoliate with a stiff brush and i guess it helped?
I found if there is a blotch you can scrub most of it off, like on the knees.
I'm still having problems around the wrists
but over all it's nice ;)
