Letro dosage?

Throwing Cookies
My buddy has been off cycle for 9 months. He's def got lumps and he said they just showed up in the last 2 months. Heard of this? I told him he needs letro to try shrink it. He went to DR and DR prescribed Prednizone. He said the Prednizone helped with the tenderness but nothing else. What should his letro dosage be? What sides does he need to watch out for?

I want to give credit where it's due. The following is a copy/paste from the extraordinary member that goes by fancyhuh101. I haven't seen him around here in awhile, but this is what he would recommend and many have reported it as working for them. Hope you're doing well fancy!

Running letro to reverse gyno:
I am going to go over the three different scenarios which people could fit into. Remember regardless of what scenario you are in it is important that you begin taking the letro ASAP.

1. Already using an anti-e aside from letro.
2. Already using letro @ a dose of .25mg or .50mg ED.
3. Not running any estrogen protection.

1.
Day 1: .25mg letro + anti-e*
Day 2: .50mg letro
Day 3: 1.0mg letro
Day 4: 1.5mg letro
Day 5: 2.0mg letro
Day 6: 2.5mg letro **

2.
Day 1: .50mg letro
Day 2: 1.0mg letro
Day 3: 1.5mg letro
Day 4: 2.0mg letro
Day 5: 2.5mg letro **

3.
Day 1: .50mg letro
Day 2: 1.0mg letro
Day 3: 1.5mg letro
Day 4: 2.0mg letro
Day 5: 2.5mg letro **

*Regardless of the anti-e you are using it is important to still use it for the first day you begin letro as the letro will not have taken any effect and you by no means want your body to be without any protection when gyno is already prevalent.

** You will remain at this dose until gyno symptoms subside. Once you believe your gyno is gone it is important to stay at this dose for another 4-7 days to ensure all traces are gone. I recommend people with a bf% over 15 stay on for a week as it may be harder to judge completely whether the lump is completely gone. Once this period is over it will be important to taper letro down slowly rather than coming off it completely. Regardless of which manner you tapered up your dose you will all taper down in the same fashion.

Day 1: 2.0mg
Day 2: 1.5mg
Day 3: 1.0mg
Day 4: .50mg***
Day 5: .25mg
***You can remain at this dose or go down further to .25mg. It is really up to you at this point. They are both very common maintenance doses as an anti-e while on cycle. Personally I have stayed with .25mg and never had a problem.
Hope this helps! :)

^ some dude C_Bino made it on other forum.

As far as side, tiredness, joints will take the beating, could be very painful, decrease in sex drive, very low estrogen levels, which isn't good and can cause other issues.
Letro is the last resort.

Actually, any Aromatase inhibitor (AI) can do that if you crush your estrogen. I'm personally taking letro right now as a main Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and still tinkering with dosages as it is technically the best-bang-for-the-buck Aromatase inhibitor (AI) around. Juced_Porkchop mentioned it awhile ago which got my curiosity piqued, so I'm still playing with doses and getting blood work to make sure I'm not crushing my E2. It's a shame we can't completely crush E2 with impunity like we can with prolactin.

Hmm, I hope it works out great for you man. I've never used. From what I've read it's very powerful, and a lot of people reported those side. It certainly got mixed reviews.

Yeah, I'm just a cheap bastard and since I'm on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) - I'm always looking for ways to cut costs. I do plan on letting folks know my results once I get my test in two weeks, which would be a full month on letro as a main Aromatase inhibitor (AI). I pretty much learned you have to sift through a lot of opinion and bro-science in this game. Not that I'm saying you're wrong; I can see how easy it would be to take too much given the potency of the drug, just that there might be a feasible solution in there somewhere. In the name of science! :D

Halfwit, just tried to give you some reps for fining that but I got "spread some reputation before giving it to halfwit again" guess I gave u res for something earlier.

Idk if you remember Cashout but he too advocated the use of letro. Actually said it was the only Aromatase inhibitor (AI) he'd ever use. I know that's an appeal to authority but he's read the studies and tried all I believe whilst I've just been using liquid anastrozole on my first cycle. Thinking for the next one I'll go letro
