i am wondering what kind of workout routines you guy's do to help cut up. i understand that cardio is a must, and have seen plenty of threads about cardio but you still lift when you cut so what do you guys do.

i am curently doing all my normal routines but all with a minimum of 15-20 reps and doing alot of burnout sets.

Well everyone has a theory , I feel and what I'm doing right now is the lifting I do to gain mass which is 3sets 6-8 reps. The only thing that makes u Cut is diet and cardio . I feel heavy liftin should still be done. Now remember ur not gonna have the same power but still shoot for 6-8 reps. U didn't build huge muscles doin 15-20 reps. Just my thought.

^ exactly right IMO.

The only thing i change when i'm on a cut is my diet. Maybe up the cardio a little if i feel like it but i lift heavy weights. nuff said.

If you want to "lift to cut" i think the best way would be to continue to lift heavy BUT take less rest between sets and super-set opposing body parts such as chest and back. Say you do flat dumbbell bench then move to pull-ups. Take 30-45 seconds rest and do another super-set, Keeps your heart rate up while still allowing you to recover and do another heavy set. I started doing this 2 months back and my workout pace picked up SIGNIFICANTLY while still improving my strength. Training like this will really test your breathing pace through a set, i found that taking in HUGE amounts of air made me more explosive through my reps while also gaining a few reps. This combo of super-setting and deep breathing through sets should give you a GREAT cardio workout without you even realizing it (i hate cardio lol) It's intense too you get like a 2 hour workout done in half the time if you do it right. :D
