Half Man, Half Amazing
Before I get started: No, I'm not a competitive bodybuilder... that's just the closest thing to my training style I suppose.
Anyways! The last year or so I have been doing a split like this:
Upperbody (Heavy)
Lowerbody (Heavy)
off
Chest/Back (bb'ing, dropsets, super sets, isolations, etc.)
Lowerbody (bb'ing)
Shoulders/Arms (bb'ing)
I recently started trying some HIT training. One warm-up set, one working sets where you either: force reps (spotter), drop set(s), rest a few seconds and force reps. You also do either one set of 20-30 reps or 10x10 for each muscle you work.
I've enjoyed how quickly the workouts go bye but I just don't feel like I'm getting as much out of the gym this way.
Any of you serious bb'ers got any splits/routines you'd like to share?
PEACE, LOVE, GAINS
