I used to workout alot several years ago. i havent worked out in a long time, but am at the point where i am discusted with myself physically. i am 5'10" and weigh 225. (Not a good 225). i am starting to get back in the gym now. i have never used any juice or supplements in the past. i have some equipoise and cypionate i got from a friend. my question is how many days a week should i be working out, which of these should i be taking and in what doses and should i be taking any other supplements such as creatine, amino acids, etc? i am looking to lose weight, or not even lose weight if i can tone what i have. can you help? thanks

1) welcome to 'ology and welcome back to working out.
First of all you should deff. reconsider using steroids to get your self back into shape. They are used to get you past the point that you can achive naturaly. Read the stickys, diet and workout forums too. There are a bunch of people here that can help to get to where you need to be naturaly.

2) Ceatine will just make you retain water and look even more swolen. 4 days weights and 5 days cardio will do the trick. Create a diet that will meet your needs.

3) Remember that using steroids means you have to work even HARDER. They are not a short cut.

4) Plus you don't have any PCT on hand if you are prone to gyno you could end up with tits. Not the good kind!

Keeep that shit in a drawer and hit the fundementals frst.. And hang around this site... lots of good peeps with a ton of info!

goodluck

Dude...don't do any of that gear!!! Work out for atleast 6-12 months before considering doing that stuff you have! The only thing that will happen is a big fat dissapointment. Just get back in the gym and do lots of cardio. You won't get the green light from me to do gear at this point.
Good Luck and please listen.....God gave us 2 ears and 1 mouth for a reason.

I agree with the above posts.

1: You cannot in any way "tone what you have" you burn fat and build muscle, there is no in between.

2: You should not in any way be considering using steroids, if you never used them before and was in good shape, why would you need them now.

Get someone to map out what to hit (when training) and on what days. Then get the food in check. And honestly, if you dont even know about amino acids etc then you really should read up, you can gain really good on OTC supplements (but ofcourse nothing will beat good food, good training and the right amount of resting)

spend yer $ on a personel trainer/dietition,get your diet in order and watch the fat melt off bro! do it right you will be happy!

cosign cdog.. people make too many mistakes with their own diet and training.. if you were seeing a personal trainer and had someone make you a diet that you actually stuck to religiously, you will melt fat. Obviously this is all doable by yourself without paying anyone, but it might make it easier if you're new to the game.

Sounds like everyone is on the same page here. Thanks for the good advice. Any advice on which supplements to get on? By the way my age is 30

The 1st thing you might want to consider is watching you carbohydrate intake. That will help know off a few pounds. Complex carbs only, none after 1pm. thats always a good basic starting point for me.

listen to these guys new2thegame. this site has been great for me over the years i got a lot of info just reading other posts. do your research and you wont be disapointed. the first cycle is the best so do it rite make sure you hav a post cycle therapy (pct) set up for that cycle.
