The upper part of my chest has been falling behind lately. Now 3 weeks ago I started to change my workout. I started doing my incline moves first, and drop the weight and raised the reps on my flat bench. We will see how that goes.

Now I know this is a common problem, and there is tons of articles out there on it. But never the less I would like to know what you think.

Any advice from anyone who has had this problem?
Or anyone having this problem ? What you going to do ? Would like to know how it turns out.

Incline work. Dumbbells, barbell, even machines. Hit it hard. No magic to it.

Thanks dude.
I was expecting more comments, maybe people putting there routines on here, maybe little adjustments they made to there form.
Its all good though. I think I got a handle on it. I didn't let it get out of hand or anything.

Its not really as simple as doing decline for "lower" chest, incline for "upper" chest. Pec major and minor. The minor is underneath the major. You can play with angles and variations of exercises but by doing incline youre not doing "upper" chest, youre just hitting pec major at a different angle in an attempt to spark growth.

every other week try switching your routine up where you do incline barbell and dumbell or bench and dumbell bench or split them up like incline dumbell and then barbell bench.

regardless go hard as hell.

Doing alternating dumbbell front raises palm down but pulling dumbbell to center across chest on the way up seemed to help mine a lot.
