Guys I am looking to start on a diet and do not have a clue were to start. I walk about 3 miles or jog depending on the motivation when I get out of work at 4 am. I am 29 270 lbs I need to shed some serious weight. I think my body fat percent is something like 72. My dr recently put my on adrogel I guess I had alittle higher expectaion of that. So I figure I would ask were to start and were to go because I am clueless. Thanks for any help that can be given. Will.

When you wake up is the best time for cardio. Unfortunately you work until 4am so thats kind of rough!! With those stats you just need to look into a low carb high protein diet, with plenty of cardio and regular weight training, nothing special. The main thing is just to stick to daily cardio and stay away from the sweets.

Before you begin a fitness program, it is a good idea to start by adjusting your diet to meet your new healthy lifestyle expectations. This does not mean that you have to completely overhaul your diet. Add more fruits and vegetables and cut back on sweets and other sugary items. Any major changes in diet can interfere with some medications. For example, people who take Coumadin (warfarin) are instructed to avoid vitamin K, which is found mostly in green vegetables. Be sure to check with your physician before making any major changes to your diet to avoid any complications with your medications.

just out of curiosity what did you expect from the androgel? most people that i have heard of who used it reported poor results from it.

I was more than caught off guard when my dr said he was putting me on a steroid. So I did some research started to take it and thought the word STEROID was going to do more for me. My testosterone level was 71.9 or something that is why he put me on it.Oh well I am going to try a high protein diet and hope with some cardio I might shed a few pounds of fat and gain some muscle. Shall see.
