OP doesnt state what type of anemia she might have. Wed need more information. She needs to take the pills they gave her. If she doesnt want too then get her to eat an iron enriched diet like stated above!

She can also check her B12, and folate level. They are important for erythropoiesis(red blood cell production)

My girlfriend claims to be anaemic, and on her period she gets extremely tired as she claims a lot of her iron is lossed thru blood. She has heavy bloody periods lol


What can she take?

I had low iron for a man. Not low enough to cause problems, but it was getting there. I supplement with iron bisglycinate by blue bonnet eod and my iron values look perfect now.
