did a blood test my levels came back to 13 nmo/l (375 ng/dl).. and im 18 years old.. Should I ask for testosterone therapy? they said no before because they say this is normal. i exercise regulary and eat healthy so dont tell me to do that because that wont work im already doing it. What should I do? Also I have low test but my sex drive is crazy high.. why? shouldnt it be low?

your not finished development till around age 25. by that time you will likely have your normal-high levels, if not THEN consider hrt.... not now.

and welcome to the forum!
alot of good info here even for non aas users, stick around! : )

bro i might not know much but im pretty sure 13 is low for my age.. i should be around 700 ng/dl . And also I forgot to mention I have all the symtomps of low test.
yes everything. fatigue. tired no matter how much i sleep. no energy. bored. anxiety. depressed. you cant tell me a 18 Year old is supposed to feel like this? you sound like one of my doctors for realz

Hmm, you say you have the symptoms of low test, but high sex drive at 18... that makes sense to a point. If you spend all day in front of the computer watching strangers having sex, or playing video games all day, then the sides of that sound like what you have right now.

"being tired no matter how much you sleep. no energy. bored. .anxiety. depressed." hell I felt like that all the time when i was your age and waking off all day long to Playboy magazines, but there are several factors involved here. They tell you that your t-level is normal but your not feeling normal. you have to consider doing other things first before going in this direction. This aint no joke and has to be studied and researched if you want the best for yourself and your legacy. You have the top minds here in that area so please wait and see what they have to say. Until then hold your ground. :)

people develop at different rates and you might me a "late bloomer" my point is using aas now (hrt) will for sure leave you at these or worse levels and will halt any development that you may have had. even if you will need hrt, doing it now with lower (but not non existent ) levels is not a smart idea. you will then need weekly injection for the rest of your life... and trust me after a few years all the pinning gets old and sux...

btw many teens feel all this you mention , its called puberty, it differs from person to person but i had all of the above and didnt have low t at the time, that came later on.
and your libido is high as it is...
not everyone is the same as it is for someone 500ng/dl might be perfect to be at, others 750. .. im not saying 100% for sure you DONT have an issue, im saying EVEN IF YOU DO, doing this now is a bad call and you SHOULD tough out the next few years because there is a BIG chance you will be all sorted out when its all said and done by age 24-25 and NOT need injections every week, and even if you do, atleast you let your development finish, what was going to happen. also you can try NON hormonal supps like ZMA etc. and cognitive therapy , lots of free resources out there, i used this one> Stop Panic Attacks, Social Anxiety, and more

A BIG factor is also getting fresh air and working out, i just assumed you are doing this given the type of site this is, but if you are not this could REALLY change mood and energy levels, at first it will take forcing yourself to go for a 30min walk or lifting weights for 30-40min, but you will see after a few weeks that energy is higher and , sure you may need to force the first 10 or so min but then energy just flows better and soon even that small gap closes and your hyped to workout and be active before even starting ( i wont lie for me it never really has, i have to tell myself i have to suck it up for 5 or 10 min and i know energy and pump will come, and it does)

I HIGHLY rec getting a decent whole food multi vitamin/mineral , vitD 1000-5000iu ed, b12 and add ZMA (zinc and magnesium) before bed.
^ simple step to helping energy and mood. im sure you mom wont mind getting you some vitamins. if you cant get them all then the multi and vitd atleast .

its not like im saying stay feeling shitty, try other things and tweek life style as you get to the older age.

good luck. if you feel like i can somehow help pm me.

PS, PIZZA IS NOT CRAP FOOD IF YOU MAKE IT HEALTHY AND YOURSELF. i LOVE IT. but alot you just buy made for you is crap. i top mine with lots of veggies and drizzle olive oil on it. it IS HIGH CALORIE, but that doesnt make it bad, unless its all you eat. great for a meal or when bulking, if you live of it then sure its bad. mmmmm pizza.... dang i just made a big batch of Indian food (tikka masala) veggies and rice and feel like pizza : / mehhh tomorrow : P

You said a mouthful there, yes pizza is great as long as you make it yourself like you said, loaded it up with the good stuff or get it from a source you know and trust :) whatever gets delivered to our doorsteps will most likely not have the proper nutrients to give one the lift that he needs.

well i have made my choice. I will be taking testosterone. Will have a talk with my doctor as soon as I can.
and I dont see how taking testosterone wont let my devolpment finnish in fact it should help it? they say you know your body best. and I know I need testosterone. Honestly i dont mind taking injections for the rest of my life, but who knows I might regrett saying this never done it b4. I might come back and update if you guys wanna know if it helped or not. but one thing I know for sure is. a person shouldnt be feeling this way i am. especially if you are 18. I wil prob take testosterone later in life for other purposes so why not start now and get a feel for it.

Im not saying your doctor wont put you on TRT, anythings possible, but given the troubles a lot of people have finding a good TRT doc your appointment will not go as planned.

If you wanna throw a lil money at this, start out with the hormone panel for females from privatemdlabs(cupon code in the newsletter), if ur in the usa and its legal. Add prolactin, and vitamin-d. It will be around 100 bucks and give a clue as to whats going on with you. If money is no issue get the hormone panel for males with prolactin and vitamin-d. There are lots of things that can contribute to lower T. From poor diet, poor sleep, adrenal issues, tumors and what not. Id hate for you to get started on injections only in a few years you find out you had testicular cancer, or a pituitary adenoma. There is a process to follow, and while I doubt ur doc will prescribe you test it wouldn't surprise me either.

well im sure taking testosterone will fix any problem that I have in my body. I have searched for the right answear for a long time. why I am tired and why I have no energy and testosterone seems to be the asnwer. I first thought I had fried cns, then fried adrenal glands . theres so many things that are similiar its hard for me to know whats causing this problem I have. I dont live in the US and you said I might have testicle cancer well my parents are healthy and they have no problems so im sure I dont have any types of cancer or watever... Also I heard that your sex drive is the last thing to go away when you have low test.. that would make sense because my sex drive is high as of now.. my doctor have taken other test for what could be causing my low testosterone but they said everything was normal.. the only thing that makes sense to me is my testosterone is just not high enough for some reason so I can feel good. People say this is normal how I feel but I know damn well theres a problem with me...that feeling when you dont feel good and i have that feeling now and have had it since i was 15-16 turning 19 in august..

That seems like a pretty reasonable test level for an 18 year old. If your labido is high then I really don't see why you would contribute any of that to low t. Sounds more like depression to me. Actually, everything you describe sounds like the norm for a teenager now that I think about it.

Average 18 year old does not have TT of 700. And as you can see, TT does not peak at age 18.

Clean up your diet. No more taco bell. Get some exercise and lift weights. Get plenty of sleep.

I already said i eat and train well . I have slept for 10+ hours for 7 days+ and Im still tired so its definatly not the sleep.
Either I am right and it is the testosterone or its something else thats causing it and its not diet or shit like that. Honestly I was expecting you guys to know better. I think you guys take lightly when I say i have no energy. im basically drained on that shit.

You're awfully dismissive of folks trying to help steer you in what may be a better choice for you. You state that diet and exercise aren't a problem, then counter with you don't really know what your calories/macros are; just whatever your mom makes. That's not being on top of diet!

You then state that you somehow know you don't have adrenal/testicular/pituitary problems - all with..? A blood test? Wishful thinking?

You're 18, this means that you've got PLENTY of time to figure things out. Heck, if you want to go by your blood test results, what time was the draw done? What were your LH/FSH/vitamin D/prolactin levels?

Wouldn't you want to actually FIX the problem, instead of just TREATING it? As someone that spent ten years with low T, it was a godsend - but I'm not going to lie to you - if I could have just fixed the problem, I DEFINITELY would have.

Don't just think about today, you need to think about tomorrow too. Before you know it, you'll find that you will regret making poor decisions, and this could be one of them if you don't spend a little time not only truly educating yourself, but seeing if there is a way to not only verify IF there is a problem, but also IF TRT is the best option for you.

My .02c :)

well you dont need the top diet and count everything just so you can be normal lmao.. i know plenty of people that eat wat their mom makes and they feel good.. Sure if i wanted to build muscle I would have the top diet but im not trying to do that..
I have done 2 testosterone blood test one in the morning and it was at 15 and the second which was around 1 pm or earlier and I got 13. what should I do than? Just suffer until im 25 than see if i still have low t?
