Hi,

I get the worse hangovers ever, sometimes they can last for 5 days.. It' not a stomach thing it's more of a problem with my head and cognition.... I find it nearly impossible to concentrate..

Luckily nowadays I am married with a kid so not as much pressure to go out and party. However, I had a 4 hour session last Friday and my head is still paying for it..

Anyone else notice a connection???

You know this is a good question. When I was in college I could drink litterally however much I wanted 2-3 times a week and the next morning after a shower and bfast felt like normal. But then after leaving college I as well get terribly sick, and when this started I suspect when my low T issues started. Now granted In college I used to drink on average probably twice a week and usually a fair amount to when I left college and started working probably drank in a party scene maybe once a month if I was lucky and maybe drank descently 2 other times a month. So I would guess a part of it is a tolerance issue, also not being as young and able to recover. Funny thing is I seem to have gotten sicker actually after being on TRT. I cant touch a beer without getting a headache and mixed drinks give me a sour feeling sometimes only after a few. So I dont if there is a link or just getting old.

What I have found though is Jack daniels does not make me sick really at all. I tried a few different things and found jack to be the best. I dont know if its sugar thing as JD with Diet has almost no sugar compared to a fruity drink or even a beer. So maybe the sugar isnt metabolized as easy. Either way I see the link as well, wonder if there is more out there.

I totally agree with this, I suffer chronic hangovers after only a relatively low volume of alcohol. If I drink on a Saturday night I'm not fully recovered until Wednesday morning. However, if I'm on Test I'm usually O.K. buy Sunday mid afternoon.

not asian but white. I have no problem with getting drunk faster or slower as that really hasnt changed. For me to even start to get fired up im looking at about 6-8 drinks and drunk is closer to 10-12.

Maybe its the fact that low t has caused me to gain weight which holds more alcohol. I dont know but like I said I bet there is something to this.
