Lowering dosage in sust? Is it fine or not

I've been doing Sustanon (sust) 300 for about 4 weeks now and realized I went through 10 ml faster than expected doing 600mg a week 300mg x 2 mon & thurs. Apparently I've been measuring wrong on my syringe and been taking a little more than I thought. Maybe about 40 -50mg more a shot. Would it be bad to lower dosage back to where I was suppose to be doing?
