Maintaing...need help

All-right heres the scenario :

AGE: 22
Weight: 180 ish
BF: approx 14%
cycle history: none
Training on/off entire life

I have always been pretty dedicted to lifting/diet/exercise in general. However since college I have had up and down times to weighing as little as 167 lbs. and not seeeing them gym for months at a time. My problem has always been basically go "HEAVY or go HOME"...which leads to a few months of nazi dieting and lifting followed by a burn out and back to being very unfit.

My question: What would you guys suggest for someone in my situation as having the desire but not the time as far as a workout plan ? When to do cardio and what kind of split ? I find myself going to the gym doin a lil cardio, geting a mediocre workout, and then a lil cardio after wards !!! I HATE cardio on lifting days !!! I find it easy to workout never doing cardio ever but I really build a "fatty" muscle that is not attractive making me look like a bigger unfit dude. WHATS THE MEDIAN ???
ANY SUGGESTIONS ??? PLEASE FEEL FREE TO PUT ANYTHING THAT COMES TO MIND !!!
