I found that smoking weed before workout decreases muscle fatigue considerably. And causes you to intake more water, and a nice meal after the workout, which gets metabolized fast into muscle.

Anyone else experimented with weed before working out?
 
For about one year I was testing the effects of this substance on the body. I'd take about two doses every 4 hours or so.

What do you mean "intake more water"? And how on earth did you come to the conclusion that the meal got "metabolizez fast into muscle"??? What's your evidence.

Pot will reduce testosterone levels. Not to mention it's tough to have an intense workout when you're stoned.

This sounds like the classic pot head that thinks pot makes everything better and is actually very good for you lol.
 
i wouldnt smoke a spliff before workouts because it will be hard to get into a hardcore workout,even though its a stimulant. watch out with smoking pot too because it will cause hormonal imbalances that can lead to bitch tits. But it definantly will help you eat alot lol
 
I am so glad i read this thread. i'll see if i can get my spotters stoned next time i squat heavy so we can all have a better time.

well I did eat 3 1/4 pounders, a whole pizza and an omlette after my workout :o

plus the next day I was feeling better than ever have to go to the gym and push myself harder. How come those Jamaican islanders are huge pumped up people, they smoke weed all day, eat carbs that are through the roof then go swimming, gymming or other activities. It's a natural metabolizer like ephedrine.

i never seen a big jamaican. not all jamaicans are pot heads either.

if you wanna use illegal drugs to make gains perhaps roids would be a better choice. :eek:

I always thought my workouts were more intense because I had a better mind muscle connection.
 
I do not agree with the bitch tits BS, those are caused by munchies and being lazy. You might be able to get into a better zone while high, but pot increases muscle fatigue, not sure where you got that it decreases it, probably High Times or something.

Absolutely, but I found it better to smoke a couple of hours AFTER the workout. Workout related endorphins just knock the shit out of a THC high anyway. It works much better as a post-exercise therapy. I like the two highs evenly and separately, so I don't mix.

Now alcohol and marijuana is another situation... ;-)
 
lt can help your workout. l used to get high before my workouts for years. lt helps you feel and focus on the muscles youre working. you can squeeze them hella hard. overall ld say its bad, lve probably flaked on more workouts and eaten shitty food because of it more times than its helped?
 
I know a couple people that love to workout high because like MF'N s said it helped them focus.
I'm a weed smoker and I know it doesn't help me do shit
But like Lanky said I love the 2 highs
 
I never get stoned pre-workout, I like to be 100% alert and awake when I am pumping. But I tell you if I was to smoke earlier in the day I can still get an excellent workout that evening. I do not smoke much but sometimes late at night after workouts.

this what i have experienced when i work out high, i am more foucused but can not do as much weight. also i read somewhere that marijuana lowers test levels in the body
