I'm a Texas boy so I love my steak. Unfortunately, here in Taiwan I can't get the same quality of beef as I can back home (the Aussies don't know what they're missing and the local beef is like shoe leather).

Is it cool for me to eat rib-eye if I don't eat the fat? Is it cool to cut out the fat after I grill it? Cause I can eat steak like 4 or 5 times a week.Thanks.

Just cut off the excess fat, season, then grill it up.
 
eat the fat, unless it doesnt fit into your over all macro/calorie for a day.
other wise i see no reason to cut it out.

Sorry for my confusing post bro. The majority of the the beef over here comes from Australia and it SUCKS. After re-reading my post that does sound pretty funny. :laugh:
 
Do you have access to eye of round steak? That is one of the leanest cuts you can get....and it's reasonably priced.

I'm not worried about money; I want my steak to TASTE good. The Aussie beef over here just can't even touch some good ol' Texas Angus. I'm pretty sure I remember seeing eye of round cut over here but not 100% sure. I'll keep an eye out for it; thanks for the tip!
