I was approached yesterday at my gym by a guy who trains basicallyt everyday at the same time as me. I guess he noticed my wieghts on dead day a few times because he asked me to come down to his hometown in november to do a push-pull comp. He said its pretty relxed, not sanctioned (or so I assume) but guys will be allowed to use shirts and such. Anywho I have a pretty solid dead for my weight, but my bench is horrible. I wont be training with a shirt, nor will I lift with one at the meet. Id like to maybe do the comp just because its for a good cause but Id like to do well, so Im wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction regarding getting ready for this type of thing. Any threads I mighta missed? Im pretty well versed with WSB and other various routines, any suggestions at all are appreciated, thanks fellas.
