mike tyson bench press?

are you a boxer?
i have a friend at my gym whois a boxer and i can tell you he trains failry light with higher reps (12-15)..not saying this is the only way to go but he is trained by a coach and has a really good record..plus lots of cardio

From everything I've heard boxers aren't so intense about their weightlifting. And like blackbeard said fighters in general tend to go for higher rep stuff so I'm guessing his maxes wouldn't have been staggering.

benching X amount of weight does not mean you will look like that or anyone else whos chest you admire

lets just say he can do 315x10 if you get there doesnt mean you will look like him although 315 for 10 good resp you should have some decent pecs

Boxers do not lift heavy and are not supposed to lift more than twice per week. Their training regimens generally have little or nothing to do with lifting weights
