Hi, I'd like to say that there is a closed thread here that is still visable which you can review here steroidology.com/forum/anabolic-steroid-forum/148303-biochem-labs-gave-me-hepatitis-c-3.html#post2142922. The poster made false accusations based upon a test result showing that he was inflicted with hep c. Had I seen that thread when it was still open, I would had laid into that guy who started the thread and at the same time educated all the respondents whom have no clue. But at least today I can educate you a little and put some of your fears at ease. In that post, the guy accuses biochem labs of giving him hep C, that he contracted it 2 weeks after using a needle and their gear. Totally WRONG!!! First, understand that hepatitis has strains A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H. All strains can lead up to inflammation of the liver and even to scarring and hardening of the liver (cirrhosis), however with the exception of hep C the remaining strains are easily treated and cured with pills from the doctor. If the doc has told you that you have inflammation of the liver, he should had been able to tell from a test via blood if you have any hep virus. When you use steroids, your liver enzyme levels will be elevated and will be noticed in a simple blood test and then automatically the doc should notify you a concern about the elevated levels and consequently have a blood test to check your viral loads. If he finds your levels raised, and suspects and finds rhoids in you, he cannot tell anyone that you did steroids, rat on you to the cops, and can only advise you to stop taking them.(Whatever the reason/cause for your inflammation, it is a warning to pay attention. and carefully monitor what you eat and what you drink)! If you have any strain of hep except C, they can be contracted easily and symptoms will show up quickly. And those strains can be caught just from being around someone that has it themselves. Hep c is all together a different story...1st off, it is limited as to how you can contract it. The most common cause for C is via tainted blood and it is unclear or questionable if you can contract c from having sex with anyone that already has it. The thing with C is that when you do contract it, it lies dormant inside of you, undetectable even if specific test searching for it is done. It lies dormant at an avg of 10 years ( thereby discounting that guy claiming he caught it 2 weeks after doing injections). Once it is no longer dormant, and is visible via blood work showing enzyme levels and viral loads, etc, you can still have no symptoms of damage for 20-30 more years and a lot of people go live out there life to old age without dying from it. They now know they can get a piece of liver from a family such as your children and regrow a new one from it if you need a liver transplant via being in stage 4 of chronic hep c virus. Unfortunately, there is no real cure for C and the treatment for it has a low percentage of success and the success rate includes about 60 percent chance of relapse when the cycle of peginterferon alfa-2a and ribaviran has been completed. I suggest that you do not drink anymore , if any, while on any cycle and for months after a cycle and definitely watch what you eat! Inflammation can be caused by a number of things, but generally it is safe to say that any toxins, things that cause the liver to over work , that are consumed on a long time basis repeatedly can be the culprit...even something as simple as supplements, booze, carbonated drinks like soda, too much consumption of fats, etc. Even if you do not have any hepatitis, you can and should ask the doc for the vaccination shot for hep a & b, and the shot is cheap ( about 25.00). Should you learn that you do have any hep strains , it would be wise for you to stop doing any steroids until you get treated and cured. If you insist to use steroids, after learning you have any strain of hep, it is imperative that you stay away from any orals! And the injectable types will be limited to very few that you can use which will be least harmful to your condition. If you find out you do not have any hep, rest assured that the inflammation is "guessed" by the doc in the initial blood work as from drinking cause he doesn't know you are doing rhoids. If you only concerned about the inflammation knowing the likely culprit is the cycle you did recently, a sonogram test can show if your liver is seriously inflamed, scarred, etc. Really, your only worry about hep would be the strain C. With this being said, I wish you all the luck and suggest that you slow down on the rhoids because proper diet, rest and exercise can attain the same results or help you maintain your gains thus far.
