Monster's Insulin profile

After reading Monster's insulin protocol I have ordered Humalog and would like to know how to get the carb powder described in the article. Here is the excerpt from the profile:

"I use a powder with a 20% simple/80% complex ratio (actually its 17% mono, 5%
di, 7% tri, 5%tetra, and 66% penta-saccharides). I use about 60grams of carbs
to the 10 i.u. of insulin."

Can I buy this already made up? Do I have to put it together? Any help would be appreciated.
 
Just another bump hoping someone out there has the answer. I looked a glyco-maize by Optimum Nutrition. It is waxy maize starch, trehalose and carbogen. Has 35g carbs and 3g sugar per serving. Does not seem to be close to Monster's powder. Anyone know how to pm Monster? Thanks.
 
Yeah. That looks closer to what I need. Don't guess the vitamins and shit would affect the way it functions with the humalog. Thanks.
 
Fishing around and found the exact product that Monster was recomending for post injection and pre-meal. It is Ultimate Nutrition Pure Muscle Carbs.
 
Tks HHM. I have 6 yrs w/anabolics w/medical supervision - blood work every 4 months. I am concerned that insulin is serious. That is why I am getting as much feedback as possible. Have tried novolin about a year ago. Very tolerant but not much success. Too slow. This site has a very good profile of humalog with a simple protocol for PW. I understand the sides and definitely don't want to become dependent or die. With your experience do you think a very conservative approach would be of benefit? I've seen guys get awsome results when carefully controlled.
 
I've used it myself a few times. I like the fact that it allows me to get away with lesser doses of anabolics. I also love the fullness feeling that accompanies it.

It CAN kill you, but if used reasonably it'd be extremely difficult IMO to experience hypoglycemia.

I've only ever used it post-workout, which used to be conventional wisdom. Nowadays, it seems people are recommending humalog 3x per day or so. I don't know how practical (with spacing of shots, possibility of increased lethargy, looking out for symptoms of hypo, etc.) this would be. That's just my opinion. If I use it again, it'll be post-workout, as I've always achieved nice results with minimal fat storage.

As for the exact product you're inquiring, it really isn't that important that you use that product. Any post-workout shake (consisting of atleast 40 grams of protein and 60 or so (carbs will vary by person and amount of slin injected!!!) will suffice. The number of carbs considered 'standard' was 10 per iu of slin. I have found this number to be higher than I need. Its a good starting point though. You can always tinker with the amount. Better safe than sorry.
 
Thanks HHM. Will start w/PWO only. Have found the exact product. It is Ultimate Nutrition Pure Muscle Carbs. The protocol recomended was inject humalog and follow within 15 mins w/ this carb drink in ratio of approx 60gr carbs per 10iu slin. Follow w/full meal at 1hr from inj. Keep meal low fat to avoid storage. Good ratio protein and carbs. Let me know if your protocol is different since you have good results.
 
Cumon guys. We all know this is serious shit and many guys use this carefully and get fucking great results. Lemme hear about the good you have gotten from controlled use. This shit has been around a long time and is not going away. Guns are dangerous if not handled properly, but they are great tools for the purpose they were intended. Knowledge and discipline are what we use every day in the gym, at the table, and with ALL supplements be it AAS or vitamins. I really appreciate the sincere concern for our health and safety. Now lets hear from you who have gotten down and dirty with this shit and controlled it to give you what you wanted.

No need to overanalyze your carb source mate, it wont make much of a differencem just as long as its a fast one.

I have tried several combos and never noticed a difference, now i just drink a strawberry fanta and a protein shake of 50+ grams of protein. Same results, tastes great:)

I only do Humalog pwo max 3xweek or start loosing insulin sensitivity and gaining fat. And only for pct, funny some people say you need aas to make it work, i love what it does for keeping my gains while recovering.
 
Tks Mikea. You recomend 3 wks on. Then how long off before repeating the 3 wks on again? Have you ever used it for contest prep? I know it requires some carbs to work. Was wondering if u could use it up until 9-10 wks out? Then would you begin the day after a show and go right to growth? Just trying to figure out how to plug this in with other supplements and schedules.
 
Sorry i ment 3x a week max pwo, for 4weeks.

I compete in PL so cant give you on advice on that really, but its very hard to loose weigth while using slin, and i would prob stop it further from a show until you know 100% what you can and cannot do with it bodyfat wise.
 
Tks mikea. Use slin like Mon, Wed, Fri for 4 wks then how long off before repeating? Are you on a 3 day split for workouts or do you use slin on every other workout? I am looking for a little more mass before cutting. Sounds good. Visit today w/another competitor who claims gaining mass and leaning out at same time. Watched him pose today and not sure if that's so. But it looks like I can count on it for mass. What's your first indication of fat gain. Is it strictly visual or is it a bloated feeling...or is it something else. Fat gain would just make a lot more work for me at this time.
 
Yeah man 3x per week. I just feel bloated, like the same when i eat too much sugary carbs. Sometimes i will do only 2x a week if i feel start getting too full. I do like to gram 200+grams of protein in the 4hours and i must say that is prob the single biggest thing that if i dont, i dont get as much from it.

Im a big believer on using only what i need, so i migth go 4-6weeks pct and then take a cople off months off.

Some people dont get anything from it, i really like it, but humulin-r is even better for me results wise but tends to make me hypo so i stay away from that and stick with log.

I think you can gain and loose at the same time but i think its stupid because you will be doing both at a very slow pace. Instead i like to do it the dc way, bulk with keeping bodyfat in check and he has some excellent advice on how to do that.
