More blood then normal?

I think I know what I did wrong, but I would like to double check with veterans. I did my third injection ever today. After I pulled the needle out, I had a little more blood than I did my first two injections. I aspirated the syringe, no blood just some air bubbles. Instead of keeping the needle in for 30-60 seconds like I did the first two times, I took it out almost instantly which is where I think I screwed up. There is no bruising or unusual soreness, so I think I took the needle out too quickly. Sound about right?

Wouldn't matter if you took it out fast or slow, as far as blood spillage. If you knick a vein or went thru a vein, the negative pressure will force blood out the injection site even if you left the needle in for a long time. It will bruise in a few days as the blood will not circulate and just stay pooling at the site, keep heating pad on it to dissipate the bruise. No worries otherwise, it happens from time to time.
