My 3J's Nutrition Network Experience

Weight up nicely from 167.64 to 169.4 today. Currently working with 3J to control my cardio as its slowly getting out of control again. Having a rest day today to get back on track.

Milestone

I'm in 7.5 weeks into 3J's program and I've added 20.4lbs since starting with approx 6% bodyfat. Very happy with progress :)

You're so welcome. You're being extremely brave to battle this, face your fears and admit your human side with the slip ups, but also you keep going. That is what it's all about - not the falling down, but the getting up and keeping it going. You've overcome a great deal to let yourself consume those calories in order to improve your health and wellbeing. Just keep remembering your goal, so when those low days hit you, you focus on the end result.

Try to resist overdoing that cardio, remember that ultimately you'll tire yourself out and feel crappy, but don't beat yourself up. Just remember you're laying down new habits, the changes made will be your new behaviour. Anything (realistic terms) is possible when you put your mind to it.

Trust the methods and take care :) ;)

Hey Detour5, thank you for the wonderful advice, I'll be taking it on board for sure. There sure are some great people out there like yourself. Thanks again :)

Very well said

Your words of wisdom inspire me Detour5, thank you so much, yes it has been difficult consuming the calories required, the week before I signed up with 3J I was barely consuming 1300 calories, leading up to signing up I brought myself up to 2400, now 3J has slowly brought me up to 3600 calories, a huge leap I'm sure you'll agree.

With regards to cardio I think its the feeling of full after a meal i'm not comfortable with, cardio gets rid of that feeling quickly, plus i don't have to deal with the real world as cardio makes me almost pass out and goto sleep for the rest of the day. Well at least until the next cardio session lol.

I will do my best to keep cardio to a max of 30mins from now on. This will not only allow myself to recover from workouts etc but to also engage in the real world.

Thank you once again Detour 5 :)

Funny shopping expereince

Funny experience today went to buy a short sleeve shirt I normally wear a medium size today most of the extra large shirts were too tight in the sleeves lol, kept laughing and thinking of what 3J was turning me into lol.

My mum who came with me was almost in tears from happiness.

Thank you :)

Like I said, you're doing fantastic! That feeling of full is partly in your head, you may be putting all your focus on your stomach, making you more aware of it's contents which can then spiral onto the excessive cardio.

Perhaps when you feel those symptoms of fullness try and do an activity that distracts you, could be a short walk, or a project around the home that keeps being put off, a great one would be catching up with friends etc.. The idea is to not go into yourself and focus on it, think outward.

Keep going you're on the right path.

Thanks again Detour5, its been hard but I'm currently sticking to the plan of only doing 30 minutes walking per day. I combat the feeling of fullness by doing as you said some other type of activity either some work or going to the local shops, etc

Weight is up slightly from 169.4 to 169.62 today. Sticking with 30 minutes of walking per day.

Nice work Yesitis. Looks like every ounce of weight you have gained is pure muscle. You must have good genes, all the weight is going to the right places. What is your goal weight/look? 190-200lbs?

Thanks for that ErectusMaximus, I really needed that today. I was only just telling 3J that without the exessive cardio I feel like I've put on a bit of fat now, I feel smoother and not as defined, bit puffy. 3J's response was that its all in my head, I look no different.

Regards to goal weight I haven't really thought about ErectusMaximus, I think my main goal is to get rid of those stupid anorexic thoughts, dont get me wrong 190-200 would be nice lol :)

Thanks again for posting you've made me feel better

Having a difficult day today as I mentioned to ErectusMaximus earlier. Head keeps telling me I've put on fat and when I look in the mirror I feel that I'm not as defined and puffy looking. 3J says how have I put on fat if there was no increase in my weight, good point lol, oh well will battle through the thoughts once again. Eating Disorders, gotta love them.

Weight stable again at 169.62. Still doing 30mins walking per day. 3J said we will add calories in a day or so if weight remains stable.

Big Improvement

Big improvement today was able to walk for 30 minutes on the treadmill without having to hold on to rails for support, haven't been able to do that since I was sick. Very happy in past needed to hold on as I couldn't balance due to no energy. getting there :)
