Hey Detour5, thank you for the wonderful advice, I'll be taking it on board for sure. There sure are some great people out there like yourself. Thanks again![]()
You're so welcome. You're being extremely brave to battle this, face your fears and admit your human side with the slip ups, but also you keep going. That is what it's all about - not the falling down, but the getting up and keeping it going. You've overcome a great deal to let yourself consume those calories in order to improve your health and wellbeing. Just keep remembering your goal, so when those low days hit you, you focus on the end result.
Try to resist overdoing that cardio, remember that ultimately you'll tire yourself out and feel crappy, but don't beat yourself up. Just remember you're laying down new habits, the changes made will be your new behaviour. Anything (realistic terms) is possible when you put your mind to it.
Trust the methods and take care![]()

Your words of wisdom inspire me Detour5, thank you so much, yes it has been difficult consuming the calories required, the week before I signed up with 3J I was barely consuming 1300 calories, leading up to signing up I brought myself up to 2400, now 3J has slowly brought me up to 3600 calories, a huge leap I'm sure you'll agree.
With regards to cardio I think its the feeling of full after a meal i'm not comfortable with, cardio gets rid of that feeling quickly, plus i don't have to deal with the real world as cardio makes me almost pass out and goto sleep for the rest of the day. Well at least until the next cardio session lol.
I will do my best to keep cardio to a max of 30mins from now on. This will not only allow myself to recover from workouts etc but to also engage in the real world.
Thank you once again Detour 5![]()
