My first cycle. What do you think?

Hey guys, how you doing? So, I've been lifting seriously for almost 3 years straight. I know I can still grow naturally, but I won't even get close to my objectives without the use of steroids (fitness model like Lazar Angelov, Ulysses Jr...). BUT, although I'm 100% sure I'll use AAS before my 21's (I'm 18 years old right now) I'm afraid of fucking up my health (short and long term), so I decided to take it easy on the first one and see how my organism reacts. What do you think?

1-8 80mg oxandrolone (every day)
1-8 100mg test. propionate (every day)

I know I'm young, but I'm not like these kids that workout in the morning and go to mc donalds at night. I go hard at the gym, have a great diet plan and don't skip leg days lol. Here's a picture of how my body changed in 3 years:

I'm bigger than many people on steroids, and whenever I want, as dedicated as a pro.

So, the big question is: could a light cycle like this one mess up my HPTA? Are the chances high that I'll never produce the same amount of testosterone naturally again? And could this cycle crash my libido later?

Thanks,
Lucas

talk to a type 1 diabetic about the fun and joy found in living life by a needle every day or so.. you'll be well on your way to that in a few years.. but, there is a bright side!.... thankfully you'll never reproduce.

Yeah, I'm going to listen to Thumper's mom on this one, I have nothing nice to say, so . . .

OK, I'll try. At your age the length or strength of the cycle don't matter. Any amount for any length of time will fuck with your HPG axis and shut you down. The risks are still there. Gold star for at least knowing what that is (even though you said HPTA not HPGA). Life is long, relax, enjoy the ride, you will get there.

An 18 year old that lifts properly, eats properly and has done some research BEFORE moving forward. I applaud you sir for being 10x smarter than the rest of your generation, seriously. Just think what you'll be like at 25 when you're done growing and you'll have built up those tendons/ligaments to the point where you can put on ridiculous amounts of mass without worrying about tears and shears. Wait my friend, you've come so far already - it would be a shame to see you destroy all that hard work before you're ready to take the next step.

The wait is well worth it, I promise.

But what about people who started running steroids at a young age, like Arnold and the old school bodybuilders? Are they just lucky they didn't have many side effects, or are they actually facing the consequences? Are these consequences so bad?
And what about new youngsters like Jeff Seid, etc...

The reason why I registered in this site is because EVERYWHERE I ask about steroids, people tell me "go on, you'll get a great shape... nothing happened to me, nothing happened to him, etc" so I'm tired of listening that it's all good, and I knew you people from steroidology would tell me not to do it. What I would like to know, and I think you can explain is: WHY NOT? What might happen to me long term?

I don't know Arnold personally nor am I in correspondence with Jeff Seid. We'll never know what they go through or what they have had to do to maintain the image they need to present to the public. While you're in really good shape, you have to ask yourself do you look like:

Genetics sadly determine far more than we want to accept, and while I do think there are the rare exceptions that DO have a shot at making a career in professional bodybuilding, it's not in the cards for most of us.

My magic eight ball isn't working tonight, so I can't tell you exactly what you will face down the road if you do choose to use AAS at a young age. I can tell you however that you risk permanent shut down of your HPTA (the engine that basically powers your giggle-berries and bang-stick), impaired mental function due to a hormonal imbalance, erectile dysfunction, stunted growth of not only your height - but of your skeleton itself, and many many more permanent side-effects. I can't imagine being fit at 18 and not having a functioning penis, that would scare me (and did) away from AAS no matter what the pimple-backed bros at the gym tell you.

So let's say you don't think you'll face any problems and that you're one of the lucky ones; remember, if you DO get shut down permanently - testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) likely will NOT be an option for you due to your young age, and you'll be forced to either live a poor quality of life, or be forced to rely on underground sources of testosterone - for the rest of your life. I'm not trying to scare you "straight", but you really do need to put some serious thought into this as it's not something you can undo.

My .02c :)

Because rumpy and Solomon Grundy didn't rip ya, neither will I. Don't do it son. Enjoy the naturally high level of test running through your body now while you can. From the looks of your pics, your well on your way!! Take the .02c halfwit offered...he knows his shit....

The people who told you that you will look good weren't lying to you. You will look great if you're on gear and have a great diet and workout routine, but they aren't telling you that you have a high chance of being on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) by the time you're 30 if not earlier and not being able to get a hard on without taking a pill. Those are just the 2 sides that msot younger guys care to hear about. There could potentially be much worse sides. It's not worth it to get on gear yet bro. Keep gaining naturally so when you are older, and hopefully reach your genetic potential, you can get the full benefits of steroids. Listen to what everyone has been telling you eat as much clean food as possible, lift heavy, and sleep at least 8 hours a night. That will get you huge.

You got some great advice. I wouldn't do it. Remember, you are young and you still have a lot of time to grow. I looked at your pics and I can say you made some great progress naturally over the years. I hate when people say things like, "Arnold didn't have any issues, etc." Nobody knows his issues because we are not his doctor. Arnold has money and a team of doctors looking over him and like was mentioned, great genetics to go along with it. Sure you can run a cycle but as mentioned, you are still growing so inhibiting your natural testosterone by taking exogenous testosterone is not a smart move. There are complications with everything for the most part. I started young and I wish I would have waited. I definitely screwed up my hormones for a good period of my life and I should have been worried about having sex but instead was worried about how to get it up to have sex. Just don't get in the habit of using other people for your own satisfaction. Meaning, when a buddy of yours says, "Look at me, I'm fine." Is he really fine?? You realize there is a very very fine line between feeling good and dying. I take what people say with a grain of salt. And again if these buddies who are juicing cared about their bodies, they would get blood work before, during, and after using gear. Have them show you those lab results. I guarantee you that they can't produce them.

From my perspective, I waited until my FORTIES before I started AAS. Did I want to do them when I was a youngster in my late teens? Absolutely! At 18, I went into my very first Bodybuilding Competition as a Junior Heavyweight, and while I didn't place, it DID let me see how much farther I had to go NATURALLY! My old man was a power lifter and Bodybuilder and won several competitions throughout his career, but he was all natural too...granted he never had the desire to go pro (cuz he probably would have HAD to use AAS then...)

Over the years that followed, I would move away and then back to weight training, mostly because I always felt better about myself when I followed a regular routine. As I grew older, had kids, etc, I started back into weight training again... BUT with one drastic difference: I started losing my hair...I started having to take a little blue (or yellow) pill to get a hardon...and I had to workout twice as hard as the youngsters in the gym, in order to put on half as much muscle (you can read lowered T levels all over that). Once I managed to go pretty much as far as I was able to go physically, because of my age, old injuries, and reduced T, I decided to FINALLY make the move to AAS. I tried PH for my first cycle, and I noticed a rather dramatic improvement. It was after that when I started to research....and I read EVERYTHING I could find on AAS, PCT, Aromatase inhibitor (AI), etc.

After almost a year of leg work, I finally took the plunge. Many cycles later, I am happy to say that FOR ME, it was the smartest choice I could have ever made! I don't need little pills to get a hardon anymore...I look and FEEL awesome....better than I have in years, in fact....

The op and others might be wondering about the moral of this story, and here it is: There is a time & place for everything! A person will KNOW and FEEL when it is time to move to AAS..
