My First Injection

It went good.....I think. I went into the glute with a 22g, 1.5".

I injected 1ml of Enanthate

Here's some questions......

1. While I was injecting, I felt a tingle right above my pelvis on the same side as the shot. Is this normal?

2. While I was cleaning the site afterwards and holding the cotton to it, I smelled the Test I just injected. It was like a flowery smell. Should I be smelling things or did I do it wrong?

3. Right now, the muscle feels a little sore. Does this mean I did it right?

4. I was bleeding for two minutes afterwards. Normal?
 
why such a big guage bro, leaves to much scar tissue

as for the bleeding , you just jabbed a 22 guage pin in your ass bro. it will bleed

smelling the test -- not sure on that one bro

muscle feeling sore-- 22 guage pin will hurt lol

the tingle-- could have grazed a nerve bro
 
Sounds pretty normal to me, I also use 22G 1.5" in the glutes and ya it can get tingly at times sure....wait until you hit some nerves lol. Not sure about the smell of it, don't think it would be flower like. Your ass is new to the game and tender....it's gonna be a little sore, but give er a few more weeks and it will be nothing.

1. Normal. You'll have some injects where you dont feel a thing, you'll have others where it feels a little weird, you'll have others that hurt right from the onset.

2. I dont think you smelled the test bro. Understand that when you first do something like inject yourself, you naturally turn up every 'sense' as much as possible to try and detect something that might not be right.

3. Basically like #1. Sometimes I get sore immediately after. Sometimes it takes up to 24-48 hours to get sore, sometimes I dont get sore at all. Depends on the spot, depends on how much the needle moved while inside you, depends on how much you just shot and how fast you shot it. Everyone is different.

4. Again, this will vary. Sometimes I have shots that bleed for 5 mintues, some that dont bleed at all, some that look like they will bleed forever but then stop suddenly. Just swab it with rubbing alcohol and stick a bandaid on it next time.

I think the reason I smell something weird is, when I was flicking the bubbles out after I drew the goods, I pushed up on the plunger and let the test trickle down a bit. Some of it might have rubbed off going through my skin
 
Congrats bro., for glutes I stick to 23g 1"........22g just a tad to big for my likings!:D

Really? I never found that much of a difference between the two. Personally I still use 22g 1.5's for the quads and dont have balls of scar tissue building up...........................yet. hahahaha.

Yeah Biggie and I have even used 25g in my glutes but it was to damn slow and the position as I'm sure you are aware of isn't to damn comfortable!:D I guess it's just the fact that 23g is smaller does it for me and the AS flows through smoothly enough!
 
Congrats bro........you've got lots of great advice, not much for me to add, although I do use 22g 1.5" pins for glutes as well.
 
Did you taste it after injection? Sometimes that happens to me. A lot of mental play for your first injection.
 
One more question.....

Is it better to inject from an angle(right to left) or straight in(as if you were putting something up your ass)? Sorry, no better way to explain it.
 
By the end of your cycle the pin is really gonna start to hurt to push in. Scar tissue is the reason. I use the same size dart as you, but might start using 25g.

One injection I did left a round bruise where I injected because its a big pin and doesnt go in like butter sometimes.

1. The tingeling is totally normal bro! Its going through muscle fibers and stuff. I get a tingly feeling too, usually in my leg and my lower back area. It doesnt hurt but feels weird sometimes.

2. The area always hurts after injecting. Sometimes more, sometimes less.

3. Bleeding is normal, squirting is not.:D Thats why nurses tape a cotton ball on you after giving you an injection.

4. What you smelled is new to me. Probably the alcohol.
