Nausea/sickness after IM injection

Today i did my third pin, my first two were shot in the deltoids but this time i tried a 1.5ml shot in my Pectoral.
Injection itself was painless, i aspirated(no blood), and shot (the Parabolan in this case) into the muscle, i used a 25G 1" needle and i inserted it for certainly 80% of its length

While i was injecting some pain started a little (i got nervous a bit)and after i removed the needle i saw a small dripple of blood on the injeciton site.(maybe psychologically it triggeringed something).
I trew away the needle, walked around a bit. didnt really feel any pain at the injection site but remained somehow very nervous, started to get really sweaty and hot and after i walked back into the bathroom my stomach actually chose to start throwing up. at that point i was really worried about this and thought of calling someone. So while i was texting my friend about this i stopped throwing up and felt just fine within a matter of a 20-30 seconds.

Now an hour later, i feel pretty good and just usual muscle weird feeling after injecting just like with deltoids. actually delts felt worse to be completely honoust

What could have happend ?? hit a vein or nerve?

You experienced Vasovagal Response. Always step away and abort the injection for a later time before it becomes vasovagal syncope, as you would faint.

Problem is, it started after i was already done with the injection. so there was not anything to abort anymore.
i did feeling like i was about to pass out wich worried because of being alone at the time

Thanks,

Any chance the gear is at the wrong place now or is absorbed differently than its suppose to do?

It's possible that you may have gotten some oil directly into the bloodstream. However, your combined symptoms are those of vasovagal response.

Pectoral injection probably wouldnt be my favourite sites from this point on. but im not sure how often injecting in the same deltoid muscle is a good idea.
Or maybe ill try calves next time (3 days)

yeah. you'll be doing the calves once. With emphasis on the word "once".

Try lats, traps, delts, triceps, biceps, quads, glutes.

Do yourself a favor and do quads before you venture into calves. If that doesn't tickle your pickle, hit your ventroglutes. Calves are just downright painful pip in my experience.

Edit: DAHHHHHHH, Austinite beat me AGAIN! :laugh4:

Geez glad I haven't had that kind of reaction, at least not yet! I've managed a couple other good ones like hitting a nerve while injecting into the quad, which nearly knocked the needle out of my leg it spasmed so strongly.
And injected partially into a blood vessel once. Didn't bother to aspirate since I'd hit that spot many times before. Got a really good head high seconds later and coughed like a mother fucker for 5 minutes. But all was well afterwards.

I found that pectoral injection actually seemed harder to get the needle in.

right so calves is a bad idea? interesting i figured the muscle is such a clear block of muscle, easy to find ,cant miss it and its not too small. quads and triceps also sound good to me.
i personally feel the depth of the injection is bothering me the most. not goin in too deep but also not subq accidentally

Well, they might be a nice block of muscle, but you'll be in pain for a good week. You can easily sink a needle 1" into your delts/quads/glutes without any issue unless you have some junk in the trunk. Even then, the ventroglute should be lean enough to get by with a 1". I bury the needle all the way to the luer.

i guess il just stick to delts and try quads. i bought the 1" 25G needles because i read somewhere there good for any spot injection.
Thanks for all advice

UPDATE:
Today i tried my trapz, and it worked like a charm no serious pain whatsoever or any kind of shock like last time. also my trapz are a quite obvious block of muscle easy to find just like calves wich i mentoined before.
It does feel sore of course but it feels just like regular deltoid injections soreness. I do have to say, i feel i use my traps a lot more during regular everyday movements than my delts because i notice the "pain" it bit more.

Never tried my traps, I agree seems to be more used that delts... I honestly love delts for spot injections. Except for sleeping on my side, I barely notice the pip there.

I'd be scared to try my biceps or calves. Pec wasn't horrible for me.

the pain in my pectoral actually wasnt so bad either when i tried that spot. but somehowe when i saw a drip of blood there after removing the needle and felt a small tinckly feeling there it started to freak me out(the idea of my beating heart under that needle, wich is farfetched i know), and from there its just a psychological snowball effect of being unncessary worried. you just gotta be confident about what your doing and dont freak yourself out

haha your nutz!

these are what i rec with first with most ease imo:

delts
outer quads
glutes

you shouldnt need more than that, thats 6 spots.
