Nearly passed out tonight........

Flash_Gordon

Loves you very much...
I had just done 6 sets of squats with a medium 225 weight load and was on my 2nd set of walking 20 step luges with 45s. Got to the end and bend down to let the weight go and when I stood up everything when fuzzy, blackness started closing in on my vision and I started to fall foward. Wow! I was able to catch myself with a suport rail on the window next to me till things came back into focus. And again on the last set the same thing happened at the end. My breathing was steady and deep but damn I swear I was gonna hit the matt hard.

I expect much pain getting off the toilet seat tomorrow and walking up stairs so I know I've hit my quads the right way. :)

I don't have high blood pressure. Having been in 2 car accidents last year I've been to the docs office quite a few times, each visit with the standard BP tests done and my BP is well below the norm as is my pluse.

Maybe it's more of low BP or low 02 issue instead?? I almost passed out a few years ago after walking up 2 flights of stairs after giving blood.

That is a very rare and unusual condition called "Good Leg Workout Syndrome".... very rare in this day and age........... :)

that happened to me before, my house is all stairs and after a leg day i feel like im going to fall on each stair cause my legs just give out

could be low blood pressure.

do you do a lot of cardio? when i was running competitively my bp was like 110/40.

do you eat red meat and enough salt? once i started getting enough iron and sodium, my bp jumped up to normal.

Well my BP on 12/5/03 was 116/79 and my pulse was 64. I'm 36 and black but I don't think my family has a history of high BP in it.

Use all your Blood Sugar?

Were you weak after almost passing out? did you break out in a cold sweat all over? I have that problem and cannot tell you the medical term but it is where your blood sugar bottoms out. It has happened to me three times in the last 9 months.

the less your heart beats / minute the less it has to work and that means its real healthy. My hear beats 35-38 times per minute, lower then anyone else I know except for olympians :D
