need a docs insight--

fully agree with gator, its great that you caught it now

look what is going to happen from here will depend on exactly what is going on- is it hardening of the arteries or is there some sot of buildup or obstruction etc etc

good luck mate, wish it wasnt happening :)

thanks everyone--

i talked to a very good surgeon today-- he is sending me for an angiogram [sp] i get that thursday and will know what they find with that friday back in the docs office--

he wants everything there is to know done by the end of the week so he knows where to go from there--

he happens to be one of the best in the field on this -- so i am happy about that--

according to the report he has from the pics they took last week he said i have a 50/50 chance of it being nothing or the other end of it and thats being a serious thing--so we will wait and see

i asked what would cause it at my age -- he said dna -[inherited] my biggest factor is i used to smoke ALOT and that just speeds up the process-- it runs in my family

good luck bro and keep us posted

Hey bro I still wish you the best of luck and hope its nothing. We all have or fingers crossed for you, we need you around here. Let us know Thurs about the news.

My father just had heart catheterization surgery about a month and a half ago, he had two 90% blockages. They went in through his leg (femoral artery I imagine) and used angio to break up the blockages, then put stints in.

He couldn't do anything physical for a month, but he's now back to lifting and everything else he was doing. He feels a lot better overall, he won't shut up about it. :)

Bottom line is, this kind of thing is very common and you caught it pretty early so try not to worry too much. Good luck.

How about an update?

i will not know anything till next wednesday now-- the doc was caught in surgery so they had to reschedule--

i have all the pics they took yesterday but dont know what the fuck i am looking at--
so i am stuck waiting till next week:(
