Alright bro's this will appear to be the gayest ? asked on here to most of you probably.
Here's the deal I started back at the gym after a nasty injury on super bowl sunday that has some gel in one of my disks in the vertebra going the opposite way. This is what my PT said.
I really took a liking and still do and have major liking to powerlifting, simple split
squat/bench/dead mon/wed/fri along with some ancillary work around the hig set's of the compounds. Low volume/high intensity. That shit was working like a charm for me and it took a good bit of time to learn technique etc... from a particular member on the board that really know's his shit Mikea. Also learned a lot threw watching Dave Tate or Jim Wendlers video's.
But at any rate not to making this a fucking bio like usual I love golf and really wanna get my game back this yr. Grant it when I was playing last yr and doing the 3 day split I speak of my drives were as far if not some farhter then Tiger, Daly etc... and this isn't BS. They were monseterous and I didn't even have to get the club parralel and had no hip turn so lord know's what it could had been. But being 6 3 276 last summer and all tight not flexible, my iron play sucked, had no short game etc... This is probably gonna go know where cause I doubt there's any golfers on here, lol I used to compete until 22 23 I'm now 33 and let's just say partying and chic's got in the way of my competing. I know I'm not going to be a pro BBer and I gotta chic of 6 yrs so no need to blow up again and let think I'm impressing the lady's and I aint gonna compete in pling.
So if anyone has suggestion on a 3 day routine for maximum flexibility and lower back strength I'd love to hear it becaue as mentioned I learned a ton about pling and the shit I learned worked like a motherfucker if you guy's do wanna get strong and blow up but ima shoot for playing a lot of golf this yr and pling and golf was not mixing last yr.
Currently down to 6 3 255, on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) I take one cc of cyp every two week's. Lower back still has this issue from the wreck, it actually was an issue that was reaggrevated from deadlifting the wrong way when I was young and dumb.
I'd like to hear some thought's and no bullshit about ow you pussy golfer ive been there done that bro's with the stacks of gear and going balls to the wall in the gym and eating 5k cal's a day but kinda wanna take a different approach now. That's not to say when golf season end's I probably will go back to pling.
