I'm in the military in San Diego and trying to get a consult for an Endo in town. My T tests have been 190, 5 tests at 250, a 319 and 385. Hoping to find someone who knows about TRT and proper protocols. Anyone know of one in San Diego? If not what kind if questions would you ask doctor receptionist if your calling around to different offices? Trying to find a way to get a knowledgeably Endo.

The T levels you report are borderline lowish. How old r u?
The last place you want to go to is an endos if you are low in T. There's folks out there (including myself)that have never really found a knowledgeable endo in TRT...
In fact I'm still looking for one and I had T levels lower than yours that they never wanted to treat.
I doubt you will get TRT with 385 ng/dl. Do yourself a favour in the mean time get your self a sleep study done.
Good luck.

I'm 34yrs old. I've already had a sleep study and I don't have sleep apnea. How is my total T low with levels of 190, 191, 245, 249, 254, 269, 246, 312, 385. My LH was 2.9 and my FSH 1.6. From all the reading I have done and reading posts on this website I have secondary hypogonadism. I understand I had 1 level above 350, but everything I read is below 350 is low. I also had the 385 reading taken at 630am and all my other readings were between 8-9am. My dilemma is that even if my T levels are 385 at 630 am, how does that help my fatigue issues, mood, ability to concentrate at work, libido, and overall health between 10am and bedtime. My Free T is dropping down under 7.0 based on the online calculator I found, so that's why I feel I have symptoms late morning thru the rest of the day.

I understand. In the mean time you could take control of some things that CAN help T production. Start on a good quality vit. E, at least 50 mg zinc picolinate ED, lean up, do resistance training, eat mono unsaturated fats, get saturated fats in your diet from red meats, egg yolks etc. ...
What is your prolactin, Estradiol level, SHBG ?
You are secondary you might get some benefit from a restart by using agents like clomid, HCG, to stimulate your body's on natural production.
Usually the docs to see for help are anti aging docs but they really wont look for the problem but rather just write scripts for HRT. It's a life long decision.
Any past steroid use?

No steroid use ever, Estradiol was 13 and SHBG was 21, Albumin was 4.8. I work out already and eat healthy (besides loving my ice cream). I'm in the military so I can't get any drugs by outside Docs unless I get a referral and I don't think they will send me to an anti aging doc. Not sure what to do
