I have two friends, man and wife. She is about 39yrs; 5'7"; 200lbs (+)
He is 37yrs; 5' 11"; around 250lbs. I don't know BF on either but I would think BF is pretty High. They are both finally ready to commit and asked me to help them with a diet plan since they have seen how well I'm doing on mine. My question is; Do I need to figure both of thier BMR'S at thier current weights and then figure a meal plan from there, or should I figure thier BMR'S from about 50lbs lighter which is about where they should be in weight???? I would greatly appreciate all help!!! Thanks!!!

I wouldn't worry about any of that until they got MUCH leaner. Right now it would just be a pain in the ass to do all that, when they could see a lot of success without doing that.

I would just suggest doing the metabolic diet, and just tell them to eat only natural foods and don't go hungry. They should see a lot of success with doing that, and once they get lean enough, then you can do the things you mentioned to help get rid of the more stubburn fat.
