Hey guys my name is Damon. I'm 18 years old, and i live in Georgia. I'm 148 lbs at 5"8, and around 7% body fat. ive been lifting for about 3 years now, and recently ive started doing doubles, (hitting weights twice a day). I've seen some gains, but i really want to get jacked. Can you give me any information on some cheap gear i can try? im pressed for money, but i take lifting very seriously. it's all i want to do. im even thinking about going in the military after highschool just so i can get a steady job there, and be able to lift often. I'm not just a high school kid who wants to look good on the beach, i am very serious about it i cook all my meals, and try to eat very healthy aswell. any information will help. thank you

I would say put your money towards food... If your not eating enuff food, your not going to gain..

I also have taken a lot of tips from different trainers and bodybuilders, and i use very strict form, and stay in the 8-12 rep range. when im hitting it heavy, i stay 8 reps for 3-4 sets per exercise, and throw in a pump set of 20 after the 3 sets. my bench max is nothing to brag about, it's only 210, but like i said i always hit atleast 8 reps anyways. i dont know if this matters, but i want to provide all the info possible

man i eat alot. typically around 4 good meals a day, and in between some snacks. my meals always consist of a meat, a veggie, and a carb.
for breakfast its a hamburger patty, 3 scrambled eggs, cottage cheese.
etc, i think i eat fairly good

Hey brotha
For a small guy like you with low bf % you should be doing your best to get in between 7-8 meals a day with that 8 meal being right before bed.
As far as protein and cals are concerned, you should be eating AT LEAST 1 gram of protein for pound of body weight per day. You should force yourself to eat a minimum of 5,000 cal a day as well especially if you are working out as often as you say you are to replace the calories you are burning.

At your age, gear is not the best idea. Your body is still growing, your hormones are still developing, and your natural test is likely very high.
Eat, take your protein shakes, lift properly, and eat some more and you'll be okay.
