Hi there! My name is Jen , obviously, and I am completely new to all of this. I'm 29 and in the worst shape I have ever been in, including during both my pregnancies. However, I'm not trying to let this discourage me from not only getting back in shape, but better then ever. I just started doing crossfit. And just so happens I love it. I also changed my diet. These of course are the two things I already knew I needed to get started. However, my husband has given me 50mg anavar's and suggested that I take it half a day for 5 days then off for 2 days then back on, so on and so on. But I really feel lost. And a bit nervous. Everything I've read has been such a far stretch in opinions, with regards to even using var at all. I'm open to any suggestions or guidance. I'm not looking to just thin out. I want to be STRONG and HEALTHY first and foremost. Yes, of course I want to look amazing, as well. My husband stacks and has a great body. I don't mind being a little bulky, but don't want to over do it either. So for the woman who are where I want to be, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Wow, your husband is way out to lunch. A high dose of anavar for a women is 20mg's a day. Anavar is a steroid, not a fat burner. You are a long way from needing to use steroids. If you are just starting out it would be wise to continue to work on your diet and working out. Taking anabolic steroids is a huge decision for a woman, usually kept to those looking to compete either in power lifting or fitness/bikini. The long term effects are permanent. Please don't take this decision lightly. And give your husband a slap for even suggesting 50mg's a day!! You would see some pretty Manly side effects at that dosage.

i personally recommend you stick to your diet and training routine..

the females who do start anavar start at a very low dosage.. 5mg daily for a while.. and go up as high as 10mg.. females who want to get stage ready might go higher..

but your husband is giving you bad advice.. you risk virilization

Add to this the possibility of the anavar actually being a different compound with even more virilizing properties... especially at 50mg which is a suspiciously high dose for a single capsule or tablet.

I appreciate all the advice. I think I may have worded the RX my husband suggested. 25 mg a day. Either way it sounds like it's not the right time for me to even use it period. I do aspire to get myself to that fitness model/body builder level. Obviously that will definitely have to happen with dedication and hard work. It's my personal goal. I'm determined. But I don't want to do anything to my body or expose my body to something that will be detrimental in the end either. So perhaps other suggestions with something that will help assist in the fat burning process? Like I stated I'm hooked on crossfit so I'm sure that will be my biggest asset in my goal. I thank everyone for their honesty and guidance!

It took time to get into your current state. Be patient. It will take time to achieve your goals. Keep doing what you are doing now and you will get there.

Thank you very much for being nice and supportive. I know I don't know much about all this so it's comforting for people to be honest about what I should and should not do. I see people commonly push things on others without letting them know if it's wrong or right for them. I'm very gracious for your advice. I'm sure one I reach my goal I'll probably want to look for further advice :-)

Best advice is count calories, get some computer software that will take the burden of doing it. Weigh EVERYTHING a. I know it's a chore but you must do it. Push free weights wherever possible. Do bench press, squats, deadlifts, t-bar, lat pulldowns, seated cable rowing, (with weights - not the cardio ones. 3 alternate days per week. If you don't feel burn in the muscles and you can do 10 repetitions without any problem, the weight is too low. You have to push your body to burn fat. People who work in their comfort zone using the same weights week after week, may just as well not bother.

I lost over 40 kgs in 6 months. Set your goal at o.25 kg loss per week. After 2 weeks, push it up to lose 0.5 kg per week, after another 4 weeks, push it up to 0.75 for 2 or 3 weeks. Then go to a maintenance diet for a month and then start over.

The heavier you push and the more exhausted you are, the quicker will the fat go. If there was only one exercise in the world, I would make it SQUATS, with free weights and 4 or 5 sets of 10 reps. After that you should be exhausted and gasping for breath. You don't need steroids. Just push your body to the limit and watch the fat just melt away.
