need some advice with T3 use, rare experience.

Alright so I tried t3 last week ran it for 5 days. Really I jumped to 50mcg because a lot of threads said that was the recommended dosage. I didn't see a point in starting at my normal production. After 3 days, my throat swelled up. I jumped to the conclusion my body had an adverse reaction & it can't handle t3. I went to the doctors & he took bloodwork. The blood work came back and he said my t3 levels were "normal". My issue is I have a lot of t3 on my hands that I want to use, if I taper do you guys think it'll avoid swelling? Does the swelling go away with usage?

i have never heard of t3 causing it.. you have some type of allergic reaction.. its your body telling you not to use it.. so dont use it

I don't think anyone can properly and adequately answer your questions based on the information we have.
Your test results could have shown the T3 in your system from taking T3 PO.
Did you get your T4 levels tested or anything else?

If you want to try it again, go ahead, as the 2 could be unrelated.
You could have had an infection???

This is pretty bad advice dude - if there's the slightest chance that the t3 caused the allergic reaction then he should not take it again.

Yeah the more the thought lingers, the more I'm beginning to understand why and how it was an allergic reaction. The doctor was a dick & wouldn't really level with me on why my body acted the way it did. Or maybe he just didn't know, regardless. I had liothyrodine sodium, think I could try t4? Are there alternatives? I'm asking because I bought the test to compensate for muscle loss/minimal gains, without t3 I'll either have to cut back or swole then cut taking the risk of possible muscle loss due to inadequate macro nutrients, I'd rather save myself the time & stress.

I do not believe that T3 caused inflammation of his throat.
It's most likely, if anything, a response to one of the fillers...or something completely unrelated.

We don't have enough information to give a solid answer.
