I'm a dirty bulker. There is a trick though. You have to get your quality foods in first, then you can have some Mc. Donalds, or pizza or what have you. That's how it's done. IN FACT, by eating some empty calories 1-2 days of the week it keeps your metabolism burning and your body guessing.
I also don't worry about gaining fat when I try to put on mass though. Unless you're extremely gifted you eventually have to make the decision to change your genetics. You do this by eating like a 300lb man. You'll get fat sure, but you'll also stay more anabolic, and have a lot less androgenic side affects.
ex; if you're having trouble staying at 200lbs, and your body keeps bringing you down to 190. Eat yourself to 220lb, I guarantee when you cut off that fat, your body will let you stay even heavier than 200lb this time.
And when you're cut, your body responds to Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) in low doses like it would if you're bulked and using high doses of AAS. Your body is like a sponge after cutting, very ready to absorb everything you're going to give it. This another reason why I love to bulk/cut/bulk cause the 2nd time around you're going to be a lot bigger and better than the first.
But that's just the decision I've made.
