needing advice on starting an anavar cycle

I'm new to this site. A friend of mine referred me so that I'm able to obtain more information. I am looking to try out anavar again but I'm really wanting more information with regards to dosage, cycle time and diet on and off cycle.
My goal is to lean out and keep a good amount of muscle mass, may be interested in another figure competition this fall.
I tried out anavar last year, but unfortunately didn't do enough research myself, just trusted what a male friend had suggested (he's had ALOT of experience with aas' but I feel more oriented towards men)
The dosage he increased me to was up to 20mg's a day and I cycled twice in 6 mths.
I did experience some side effects, deepening of voice and aggression and acne. Since being off I still have the deeper voice and scars from the acne.
I do want to try this again but with more knowledge and information from experienced women.
My stat's are 5'3" 135lbs,bf% 17
I weight train 5 days a wk and cardio 3 days. I have a fairly clean diet(comparable to competition style meals with either 2 cheat snacks during wk or 1 cheat meal)
I carry ALL my weight in my thighs and booty.
Need suggestions on Dosage, Cycle time, and daily caloric intake with the break down of macronutrients. Currently I am just taking ECA's. Tried clen, but it didn't work well for me

Thanks for all your help ladies! You've already been so helpful from just reading the current posts!

You're probally wanna start at 5 mg/day but after about 2 weeks if you're tollerating it well you'll probably want to bump it up to 10 mg/day to see good results, some women will use 15 but most only need 10. An 8 week cycle would be good for the first time. Diet should be very strict, keeping the carbs on the lower side and consumed earlier in the day as opposed to later at night, keep the Protein high and fats moderate. If this is your first experience with var, run it alone and then use Clenbuterol post cycle if you want. Anavar (var) combined with excellent diet and training will make you quite hard with little sides. Remember, with orals, no drinking, orals are hard on the liver. Good luck!

i researched most of other ladies experiences and this is what i came up with, someone might tell u somethin else but i had to put my 2 cents in.

I do 8 week cycles of no more than 5mg a day and get good results. There is no reason to increase it if its working. Whether its protein, fats or carbs extra cals. It took me a while to realize this.

As this is not your first time, Ill assume you know the sides, just watch for them.

Let me know how it goes girl!

Take the advice in this thread. No more than 5mg for 6-12 weeks depending on how long you want to cycle. Strict diet, lots of water. Train conisistently.

I think you know what to do ....you just didn't cycle properly.

I'm sorry about the perma side effects. Hopefully other readers will learn from your mistakes. The voice is permanent because the vocal chords have been thickened. However that won't affect your overall health like liver damage, so you can be thankful for that.

Thanks so much for the advice! It's certainly appreciated.

Just another question related to diet, would you suggest to go low on carbs? I've tried keto diets to try lean out quick, but my body doesn't tolerate them very well at all.
also, any suggestions on a total daily caloric intake?

I find that when I try out keto diets my brain is not getting enough glycogen. I am in a haze, can't concentrate and very grumpy.
I've tried it out a couple of times, same thing everytime.

basically I carb every meal, 5 meals a day, 1g pro/ body lb, 1.2g carbs/ body lb, fit some good fats in through out the day. carbs are all complex. generally I am fairly strict, but lately have been having break down cravings, a weakness for anything sweet :( this happens maybe twice a wk
any suggestions to avoid this?

When I want something sweet I make a protein brownie

1 scoop Choc. protein powder
1 Tbls. Almond butter or Peanut Butter
Water

Mix it all together until its about the consistency of pancake batter. Microwave for about 1 min ( just until the outsides are done and the inside is still a little wet). Its soo good. you take bites from the outside and dip it in the middle. I add some whipped cream if Im really needing sweets. The carb count with the whipped cream is only like 6 grams ( if your using zero carb protein).

I wouldnt be able to run keto with out this recipe.
