New Blood Work Results. Have Question About E2 Levels.

I've been taking 150mgs. of testosterone cypionate a week, split into two injections every 3.5 days, since July. No HCG or AI.

I just got blood work done and my estradiol came in at 35.4 pg/mL. Should I start looking into taking arimidex, .50mg with each injection, or is this level safe?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Do you have a lab range for your E2 test result? Where does it fall? Example: LabCorp sensitive range is 8.0 - 35.0 pg/mL

Do you have any high E2 symptoms? Acne, irritated nipples or prostate?

Since you are probably at most slightly high, I wouldn't start with 0.5mg twice a week, that will probably be too much.

Yes, it's LabCorp. The range is 7.6 - 42.6pg/mL.

I don't have any of the symptoms that you mentioned. My libido is low, though. I was expecting a "jolt" in my sex drive. When I first started injecting the cypionate, my sex drive improved dramatically. It didn't last long, though. I started to think that my E2 was high, causing the loss of libido.

I'd rather not take the arimidex if it's not needed. I've read the HCG can cause your E2 levels to rise so I'm staying away from that, also. Am I on the right track or should I rethink my options?

Thanks for your help.

I'd say you're ok without AI for the time being. Libido is like happiness: subjective, hard to quantify and subject to many influencing factors. Not sure what else to suggest, except that the HCG could possibly help.
