Alright so a little background about me. I'm 22, and was diagnosed with a mild condition called Klinefelter's Syndrome which basically means i was born with an extra X chromosome. One of the symptoms is having low testosterone. If i use TRT to get my level up to a normal range will this help my process of muscle growth? I eat health, workout at least 5 times a week but i'm still a skinny guy.

Is it worth my time and money?

Any help would be great, i'm pretty clueless right now.

Lets see what anyone thinks about this.

Here is some information you may want to consider.

Klinefelter’s Syndrome
Klinefelter’s syndrome is caused by an extra X chromosome present in the male karyotype and occurs in about 1 in every 400 men (5). The most common karyotype is 47,XXY, and mosaicism is sometimes present (18). Men with Klinefelter’s syndrome classically have small (less than 2.5-cm), firm testes, gynecomastia, eunuchoid habitus, and increased gonadotropin levels. Although production of testosterone is low, high levels of SHBG may result in normal-range testosterone levels in about 40% of patients with Klinefelter’s syndrome. These patients have
azoospermia, but those with mosaicism may have some spermatogenesis and may produce some pregnancies early during their reproductive lives. Virilization may begin
with puberty but frequently fails to progress. Gynecomastia is often present and frequently necessitates surgical therapy for cosmetic reasons or because of concerns about breast cancer, which occurs with an increased incidence in Klinefelter’s syndrome. The high levels of LH and FSH stimulate testicular aromatase activity; as a result, estradiol levels are increased. Bone density is significantly lower than for age-matched male control subjects. Learning disabilities are often present, as manifested by dyslexia and attention deficit disorder. Autoimmune
disorders are present with increased frequency in patients with Klinefelter’s syndrome and may respond favorably to testosterone therapy
(19).

If i had that i probably wouldnt think twice. But you still need to educate yourself on the subject and work with a good doc. What are your testosterone levels, though? Are you above 300?

Great info from Mega there OP.

A couple topics I suggest you read up on to help you on your way:

*Controlling estradiol (estrogen) with an Aromatase Inhibitor.

*Proper dosing protocols based on the half life (a LOT of doctors still want patients to pin enanthate esters every week or every two - three weeks which is ludicrous.)

*The use and benefits of hCG.

All very important information to know. A lot of docs are still behind the times when it comes to TRT. Educate yourself as you are one most vested in your own health :)

Feel free to ask any questions here, we're always happy to help.
