New PR's......

Finally lifted in the afternoon, after doing morning lifting all semester.........I was really beginning to get down on myself because my weights were so down, but this week has been somewhat less shitty.

Box squatted 425x1 on my final set of squats monday, 20lbs above my old record. Box is set ~3-4" below parallel.

Decline, 295x5 easy, 305x5 easy, 325x3 not easy, not too hard either though, and 365x2 straining my balls off on my last set yesterday; previous best was 365x1, all of about 9 months ago.

Going for a PR on deads tomorrow. Old best was 505. Going for five and a quarter this time, gonna see how that feels and MAYBE try to push a little higher. (straps, of course, b/c my grip still sucks balls)


BTW, I've come to realize that lifting at the rec here is a love/hate thing. I love the fact that I can lift more weight (subconsciously showing out for the hotties, I guess), but I hate the dicks that work there and the people that find it necessary to stop and stare at me or try and talk to me during a set. For instance, on my last set of decline yesterday, there was a ring of about 7 people around the bottom of the bench staring at me like 365 is a good lift or something..........(personally, I'll never think that any lift is good enough).

Haven't been hitting them consistently largely due to sleep. My training is good, diet is semidecent, but when you only sleep 4-5 hours per night, it runs you down.
 
Shit. Missed 515 dead today.......I had it about halfway up and my form got shitty; back rounded to the point it scared me, so I let'er down.
