New member here. I have spent a billion hours reading posts on this site, haha. I am starting a cycle of anavar shortly - within a week or so. I thought I might as well post my progress and details from start to finish in hopes of helping another woman who is wanting to try a cycle of anavar, and like me, will spend countless hours reading in this forum for help.
I have my third figure competition coming up in June next year. Got second place at my last show - this time...im not going home without 1st place :)

Details:
Im 30 yrs old. 5'6, 135lbs currently
been training since april specifically for this show. 5 days a week in gym, very little cardio, 6-8 meals a day- loose diet but always keep my protein up everyday even if i eat kinda crappy. i eat lots dont worry. i take a ton of supplements: pre-workout stuff, glutamine, etc.
Anyway, im starting my cycle hopefully at 28 weeks out from show.
My plan is 2.5mg wk 1
5mg wk 2
10mg wk 3-11
5mg wk 12
off for 6 wks. then repeat again. at this rate, i will pass through my show date finishing my second cycle a couple weeks after its over.
Before I start this, if anyone has any comments about my plan, or if there is anything i might need to know about doing 2 cycles before show, please let me know. I am slightly concerned about the 6 wks off in the middle of training.

Ok...so i have been missing for a long time...i had a crazy unexpected surgery in early december which put me out of the game till now, no explanations - but here i am.
so i have 10mg capsules of anavar. starting this monday, jan. 19th.
i see i have some stats in my first post, but to add to that - my waist is 28", chest "34.5, hips 36", bi's 12", thighs 22" (left is half inch smaller), calves 13". i actually weigh a little less now b/c i havent lifted since early dec.
my plan is still the same, except i dont want to cycle off in the middle of training, so it looks like this right now:
2.5mg wk 1
5mg wk 2
10mg for 19wks
5mg for 1wk, then off
I am beginning with 6 days of lifting, one day off, no cardio at first - i dont need it yet.

I don't understand this cycle.

Well... to clarify, maybe im not writing this down right, for one week i want to do 2.5mg and the second week do 5mg a day, to check on any side efffects etc that i may get, if all is well then i wanted to do 10mg a day for 18 weeks. i read on here that up to 16 weeks is ok for anavar, but thats it. i wanted to do 18. then pyramid back down after the show.
 
Ok, so I started yesterday, 5 mg. And I also took 5 mg today. I plan on doing that for the rest of the week then bump it up for the rest of the cycle.
I just finished 4 weeks of weights 5 days, split with one cardio day of 60 min on the bike. Sundays off. I lifted doing a 5x4: 5 movements, 4 sets. 8 reps give or take 2. As long as i can hit 6, but no more than 10. lots of supersets.
I started out at 135lbs. I was eating 1800 calories of 150g carbs, 250g protein, 22g fat. split between 6-8 meals per day.
I am now in the second "phase" i like to call it, just started yesterday. I started Anavar, I am doing weights in evenings 6 days a week. cardio in mornings only 3x a week for 30 min. sundays off completely. I lift heavy for a little girl :) I am now doing a 5x5 lifting routine. I am eating 1700 calories of 135g carbs, 240g protein, 22g fat. 8-10 meals per day.
I get 8-10 hours of sleep each night. I usually catch a nap for 2 hours in afternoon a couple times a week too. I love to sleep.
I weigh in now at 129 lbs. Im guessing my bodyfat to be somewhere around 18%, but thats a guess. I am having it done with calipers this weekend.
Only thing I notice at this point, is i get a nasty headache right after taking the pill. I can suck it up.
I'll post again at the end of the week before I up the dose.

ok so i just finished 6 days at 5mg a day. i am now starting 10mg a day - i took that dose today already. i feel good. the thing i notice the most is my recovery - i sleep like a champ! i nap in the afternoons sometimes and im out within seconds of closing my eyes. at night - im out cold for 10 hours. its awesome. i have good strength in the gym - i lifted hard and heavy this week. lots of supersets. i lost 1.4 lbs, not a big change - but its coming. im leaning out - thats what counts. i feel like my headaches are not too bad anymore, just immediately after taking the pill - for about 20 minutes i hate the world, then all is well.
i'll post again later this week to let you all know what 10mgs is doing for me.

oh ya...my workouts are gonna be the same this week - but im upping the cardio to 4 - 45min sessions in the morning - mon and tues, then thurs and fri. otherswise the weights are all the same. calories, carbs, protein and fat all the same.
 
So its now friday...i have done 10mg each day this week. Nice strength increase for sure. My form is tight, im pushing some good weight. I feel strong. its hard to explain - but its like i feel tightly knit in my joints. For example, things like incline fly etc. feel tight and controlled in my shoulders even with heavy weights. Big difference. I take measurements and weigh in on sunday. i'll keep ya posted!

well its been 2 and a half weeks.
i weigh 131 lbs this morning. holy crap i cant believe how even though i've leaned down - my weight is still up there. i hover around 130, give or take a pound or two. thats a good thing i suppose.
waist= 26 3/4
hips=36
chest= 34 1/2
thighs=22
bi's= left is 12 5/8, and right is 12 1/2 .measured cold of course
forearms= 9 1/2
calves=13 1/4
so there you have it, lots off my waist. my arms are measuring bigger - thats good. you can see all my abs now at least.
i have HUGE strength gains. HUGE.
Im currently eating 1600 calories per day, roughly 100 carbs, around 240 or more protein, and 20 fat.
i do cardio for 30 minutes after weights in evening - i am having a hard time being into the cardio in the mornings - im dragging ass and my heart rate isnt getting up there, so i decided to do it after my weights in the evenings when im warm and into it. i take 2oz of liquid amino after weights and before cardio though - so no worries.
we will see how this goes. 14 and a half weeks out from show....

and i forgot to mention how aggressive i am. geesh. im one cranky girl. haha. not all the time, just very easily irritated on the spot. i get pissed off in a hurry, no patience. quickly frustrated.
i also wanted to mention that this past week i started splitting my dose into two 5mg dosages a day. 5 mg in the am when i get up, and 5mg in the late afternoon about 2 hours before i lift.
