Been on 200mg every other week and just did my 3rd injection,Im stil so sore all over like a day after a work out when, as embarrassed as I feel, I haven't
been to the gym in a month because of this.
Was told I feel good again....am I just expecting too much from this?

1 YR AGO THOUGH i HAD THAT DIET ^ BUT DRANK 3-4 2 LITERS A DAY OF EITHER DEW OR PEPSI

GOOD CHOLESTEROL IS DOWN BUT SO IS THE BAD

TYPING THIS OUT i'M REALIZING IM IN BAD SHAPE HERE

clean up your diet and quit smoking. you'll feel better after a few weeks by just doing that probably. Also, you gotta try and get some quality excercise. 2-3 days a week of moderate weight training and 1 or 2 days a week of cardio type excercise. take a quality multi-vitamin too. do all of these things and your bound to start feeling better.

Every other week dosing is garbage man. You need to be injecting every 3-4 days to keep those hormone levels nice and steady. I hate doctors that just read the insert (most of them have information from the 70's!) and prescribe accordingly. It also can take several months to a YEAR for you to feel and notice the benefits of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). Be patient, it's worth the wait. :)

Find the diet section and learn as much as you can. A GALLON (4 liters) of soda is so unhealthy for you on top of skipping breakfast. It might be in your best interests to hire 3J (the moderator of the diet section) to outline a proper diet for you. He's reasonably priced and is DAMN good at what he does. As far as training is concerned, we have a section for that as well - but 3J also may include one in your diet plan. Food for thought. :)

What others said. You should be injecting twiceweekly. Seriously you need to.understand weekly. This is a huge factor in how you will feel. Start asap. Once very two weeks will make you feel worse then when you started. You need to be patient. Usually takes about 4-8 werks to feel results but heres a study for you.

ONSET OF EFFECTS OF TESTOSTERONE
TREATMENT AND TIME SPAN UNTIL MAXIMUM
EFFECTS ARE ACHIEVED.

Eur J Endocrinol. 2011 Jul 13;

Authors: Saad F, Aversa A, Isidori AM, Zafalon L,
Zitzmann M, Gooren LJ

Objectives: Testosterone has a spectrum of effects
on the male organism. This review attempts to
determine, from published studies, the time-course
of the effects induced by testosterone repla***ent
therapy from their first manifestation until
maximum effects are attained.

Design: Studies in PubMed on testosterone
repla***ent so far providing information on time
course.

Results:
Effects on sexual interest appear after 3 weeks
plateauing at 6 weeks, no further increments
beyond.
Changes in erections/ejaculations may require up
to 6 months.
Effects on quality of life manifest within 3-4 weeks,
but maximum benefits take longer.
Effects on depressive mood appear after 3-6 weeks
with a maximum after 18-30 weeks.
First effects on erythropoiesis after 3 months,
peaking at 9-12 months.
Prostate specific antigen and volume rise,
marginally, plateauing at 12 months; further
increase related to aging rather than therapy.
Effects on lipids appear after 4 weeks, maximal
after 6-12 months.
Insulin sensitivity may improve within few days, but
effects on gly***ic control become evident only
after 3-12 months.
Changes in fat mass, lean body mass and muscle
strength occur within 12-16 weeks, stabilize at 6-12 months, but marginally continue to improve over
years.
Effects on inflammation occur within 3 to 12 weeks.
Effects on bone detectable after 6 months but
continue at least for 3 years.

Conclusion: the time-course of the spectrum of
effects of testosterone shows considerable
variation, probably related to pharmacodynamics of
the testosterone preparation. Genomic and non-genomic effects, androgen receptor polymorphism
and intracellular steroid metabolism further
contribute to such diversity.

On top of what everyone else said, getting active again will help. Walking is one of the most underrated exercises you can do to get started again. Walk over lunch. After dinner. In the morning. Especially with being on the road. Get out and walk when you take a break. And try keeping some dumbbells with you to work in some weight resistance training. Ease into things.

Regarding the soreness, is that from the injections? Is it in the spot where you injected or literally all over your body? And I take it you didn't feel like that before the injections, right?

I think he means he`s sore after a workout. Thats conpletely normal if you havent worked out in a while. I agree with megatron about walking. After i fell off and gained 30lbs i just went back to ny old routine of lifting weights and doing about 20-30mins of walking on the incline treadmill qt 3.0mph. I just wore a hood for like two monyhs when i worked out because i was embarassed but after two weeks my body got used to the work load and the weight was pouring off. After being on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for a month i started this routine going from 202 @15bodyfat to 183@9%bodyfat in 5 weeks. Dont forgrt your diet theres great info in the nutrition section, keep it simple, count calories and aim for 1-2lbs lost a week

I know its hard to get back to the gym especiallh when you hate the way you look, but with your hormones being. Dialed in and having adequate testosterone now ypu can be in the best shape of your life in a few months. Just remember that and get the work in, it will pay off especially now that youre on HRT

I don't mean to sound like a broken record here but I have been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for 8 weeks and it takes time for your levels to rise enough for you to really start feeling it. You may also want to have your E2 checked, if that gets too high or low you will feel the same as without treatment. As for exercising, I am 400 pounds and I make it a priority to get to the gym 4-5 days a week, the first two weeks were a killer but now I crave my gym time.

Good Luck
