this is mainly directed toward pullinbig, but any mod's info could be just as helpful... i just did chest today, but my problem isnt in strength or form its the lack of a spotter. i tried using smith machine b4 but hate the way your hands have to roll back and forth to lock and unlock the bar. i was just wondering if its ok to use the barbell curl station and set the stopper bars directly at chest level and just push the weight up instead of a normal bench where you start by lowering the weight. is the pushing first gonna hinder any significant increases in strength? or should i just do moderate weight on a regular bench without a spotter?
